#1 Stephen Hagan

Tale as old as time... Emily is the daughter of a Philadelphia tailor. A seamstress with a blue-collar background who finds out her boyfriend Leo is actually a prince, heir to the throne of the small sovereign country Cordinia. As luck would have it however, the prince's mother Queen Isadora does not welcome her into the castle with open arms during a Christmas visit.

Lacy Chabert (making her second appearance as the love interest in a 12 Days pic) plays Emily and Jane Seymour is the Queen. The Prince was played by Stephen Hagan, an actor who instantly stood out, (and not just because of his beautiful blue eyes) and whom I am guessing is going to have a long successful career in front of him. If you haven't heard of him, you will, most of his credits thus far are for roles on the London Stage.

Growing up in Belfast, Ireland, Hagan got his training at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. In the UK, Hagan has appeared on stage in many productions including the original cast of the West End/Broadway hit production End of the Rainbow, Cyrano de Bergerac opposite Joseph Fiennes in Chichester Festival Theatre, The York Relist at Riverside Studios, The Real Thing at Salisbury Playhouse and The Giant at Hampstead Theatre. He has also taken his turn in several productions for the Royal Shakespeare Company, including roles in Twelfth Night, The Tempest, The Comedy of Errors and Troilus and Cresida.

Hagan also appeared in Clapham Junction, a film I have covered on FH. Hagan will soon be seen in Clavius along side Joseph Fiennes and Peter Firth and on next seasons Midsomer Murders.

Twelfth Night (Royal Shakespeare Company)
