Rhys Ryker: Visual Differentials
'The Best things in Life make you Sweat. I lift for the love of it. Plus love the looks when I take my shirt off at the club.'
The results of all that lifting, is a perfectly sculpted physique. His body is incredible for sure, but when I first saw his images, it was those eyes that had me wanting to learn more about model Rhys Ryker. If you look at the image at the top of this piece, you'll notice the beautiful eyes staring back at you are a light green. If you gaze into the eyes of a bearded Rhys in the image above, you'll be greeted by his baby blues.
The 26 year California model says that when he looks in the mirror, it's green he usually see's looking back. Rhys friends however, tell me they definitely go between blue and green, sometimes changing by the combination of his mood, how much he's exercising or what he's wearing. Another thing notably different in some of Rhy's shots is his beard. I love the contrast, and depending on the beard, Rhys' look, and the vibe from his images, is completely different.
'After six years in the Marines, I was done with the clean cut. I loved that I didn't have to shave every day because of some regulation. One day not shaving became a week which became a month which became a wild man in the woods beard.'
In & Out of Uniform
It was back in his clean shaven days, when he was in the Marine Corps that Rhys began modeling. The father of a friend of his in the Corps was a photographer and took his first professional shots. The decision to shoot nudes wasn't a big deal, with all the time and energy he put into getting a body he liked, Rhys enjoyed showing off the results of all his hard work.
Remaining shots from Jude Cooper
Although for the right photographer or modeling gig, nudity isn't an issue, Rhys has gotten a bit more careful with shooting more adult, mature themes since he's become a father. But... that doesn't mean the hot dad still doesn't love flaunting it for the camera when the opportunity arises with a talented photographer.
'I've been told my personality is warm, playful and persuasive – it's my triple threat that oozes sex appeal. I've traveled the world and love adventure and exotic, beautiful women.'

Prime Time Supporters: David Call
I always crushing over an actor I believe I seeing for the first time, only to discover that I had seen him in many roles before. I think it's actually a good indicator of a good actor they introduce themselves through each character they inhabit. This happened last week when I was watching my DVR recording of The Good Fight. In the March episode, (Day 422) I was introduced to Drew, the hazardous material expert called in when a envelope with strange powder is opened at the offices of Reddick, Boseman, & Kolstad.
Actor David Call played the hazmat suit wearing Drew, but even under his mask, his appeal was crystal clear. I hope that I never have a strange poisonous powder on my skin, but if I do, I hope someone as soothing, supporting and adorable as Drew comes to my rescue. If you haven't been watching The Good Fight, you really should. Given it's on CBS All Access, I know many don't get it, but it's truly one of the best dramas on television.
The Good Fight, Day 422
Fast paced, incredibly well written with great characters, The Good Fight follows Diane Lockhart, (the great Christine Baranski) forced out of her previous firm, and dealing with losing most of her retirement saving in a financial scam. Diane ends up getting a job at a prestigious African American–owned firm riling more than a few feathers.
The show manages to pull from the current political climate, while at the same time providing a addictive escape from it. Like it's predecessor, The Good Wife, The Good Fight hires amazing guest stars, including many familiar faces from Broadway.
Actor David Call, and his character Drew will also be back on the April 15th episode, hoping I will catch up by then! The Washington born actor, and Tisch School of the Arts and the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School graduate has been busy since getting his first film in 2005. Some of David's TV and film appearances include roles on, Gossip Girl, Rescue Me, Smash, Army Wives, Fringe and The Magician.
Evening (2007)
Although I didn't know it when I saw him on The Good Fight, I had indeed seen David before. One of my favorite films is the the 2007 flick Evening. Although the movie has some story issues, the incredible cast had me hooked. Evening featured Vanessa Redgrave, Toni Collette, Patrick Wilson, Hugh Dancy, Glenn Close, Clare Danes and Mamie Gummer, along with Meryl Streep, Eileen Atkins, Natasha Richardson and Barry Bostwick. Hugh and Patrick also share a quick kiss!
In one of his first film roles, David Call played Pip. With that incredible cast, Call has his first, and only I believe, nude scene when Pip jumps off a high cliff during a skinning dipping scene.

Pilate's Dream
'Then I saw thousands of millions
Crying for this man.
And then I heard them mentioning my name,
And leaving me the blame.'
My love for Sara Bareilles and especially Norm Lewis had me checking out Jesus Christ Superstar last Sunday night. I lasted less than hour before turning the channel. Ben Daniels is a great actor, but passion for the song Pilate's Dream stems from hours of listening to Dennis DeYoung's version on his 1994 album 10 On Broadway. The former member of Styx has a powerful voice that cuts to the core of a song and I listened to this cd for hours upon end when when I was young. I used the Tim Rice/Andrew Lloyd Webber song myself as an audition piece and although I never hit the last note with DeYoung's power, it helped get me a few roles.
The cd, long has been long gone missing after many moves. Hearing the song again though, had me 'adding to cart' on Amazon today. If you want to listen Dennis' version for yourself, there is a concert recording on Youtube HERE:, but the best version is the cd version which you can listen to free, along with the entire 10 On Broadway album on spotify HERE:

Cheshire Based: Josh by Male Beauty by bengie
'Hi Guys.....I'm a Cheshire based Photographer...'
Keen eyed FH readers might recognize the simmering hot Josh from a piece I did last year. In Towel Dried, I focused on the shower set images from photographer Male Beauty by bengie. The two images of Josh that I included featured that pesky pink towel covering the goods as Josh dried off. Given Josh's junk is on display in so many other of bengie's great shots, I had to ask bengie about a possible second helping of Josh.
Josh has an incredible look, strong and confident with a handsome face and beautiful blue eyes. An ex infantry man and football player, Josh says is very comfortable with my body and states that he's proud to show it off. Thank goodness for us. Josh looks striking in every shot and bengie took full advantage of Josh's pride in his body by capturing him in various poses and locations.
If you believe as I do that great images soak up some of the atmosphere in which their shot, bengie's images of Josh display both his impressive physique, as well as his surroundings. Although Josh hails from Australia not England, he still looks right at home on bengie's Cheshire farm, whether hanging out in the barn, or having a spot of tea out on the patio.
One of the reason I love bengie's work so much is his visual blend of incredible male forms he shoots with with feel and sights of his farm and property. Many photographers choose to weave in their environment, and I love when images of the male form also take me somewhere that I both fantasize about erotically, and geographically. Like everyone, I often dream of beautiful bodies, but I also dream of travel and fascinating places I dream of visiting.
I have visually visited beautiful beaches through images of the male form on both Coasts of the US, in Spain and Australia. I've travelled through forests and up mountains, to hidden creaks and abandoned buildings, prisons and factories throughout Europe and many states and provinces in America. One of my favorite places to virtually visit is England, a place I have yet to experience. Until I finally get there, I love when the artists that I feature can give me a taste of what's to come.
One of the first things that struct me when I discovered bengie's work was the first lie of his biography describing himself as Cheshire based. Cheshire just sounds exactly what I envision a county in Northern England might be like. A quick google search shows historic buildings and rural villages and structures made of the famous local red sandstone. Where as we have mayors and police chiefs, even the titles to the county's leaders have names like High sheriff and Lord Lieutenant, names which only add to mystique, especially someone who has never been there.
Now I'm not sure Cheshire, or bengie's farm would love up to my vision, but the house and barn that bengie uses as his studio, and the cows and flowers and fields which often act as a backdrop, all add to to texture of his images. I'll get to England one day soon, and although I expect there will be historic building and rural villages to see, I can only dream there might also be a hunky Australian awaiting my arrival...

Actors & SKIN: Colm Feore
In addition to his great face, actor Colm Feore also has a great body, one of which he's kept mostly under wraps throughout his career. Although he may have had some shirtless scenes, I could only find one nude scene on the actors resume, the 2000 Canadian drama, The Perfect Son. I included a clip below, as well as a few caps from Feore on The Borgias.
Feore on the beach in Barbados 2014
A Perfect Son (2000)
In The Perfect Son, Feore plays Ryan, who is reunited with his brother Theo (David Cubitt) y their fathers death. Ryan was always the 'perfect son' growing up and Theo was the black sheep. When Ryan shares that he's dying of AIDS, the two brothers come together to try to rebuild their relationship.
The Borgias (2011-2013)
Although there was nudity on The Borgias, Feore kept his 'diaper' on. In this scene however, Feore almost looks like he's wearing a condom, given how 'form fitting' the material seems to be. Although Feore wasn't naked, from the quote below from The National Post, the actor got an eye full of co-star Jeremy Irons.
'We do this scene and Jeremy Irons comes in f–king naked. He’s wearing this see-through camisole thing and he sits down. My character is placed behind him and I get the crack of his ass. I’m in this scene and I have to act now with Jeremy Irons lifting his skirt and going, ‘Here you go. Deal with that.'

ACTORS & Skin: Colm Feore
When I first saw Chicago back in 2002, I became more than a little obsessed. I listened to the soundtrack endlessly, my favorite song, I Move On, which played during the closing credits. I watched it again, and again, when it came out on DVD, but then, never saw it again until it was on one of my movie channels last weekend. I DVR'd it and watched it again last weekend. I loved it just as much as the first time I saw it. I was reminded just how hot Dominic West is and how tragic it was that Renée Zellweger stopped making movies and how much I am looking forward to seeing her again in Judy.
I was also reminded of how much I love the movies closing credits. The way the editor matched music with film clips as the cast credits role is masterful. Watching this time, I was drawn to a face I have seen many times on screen before, but with this viewing, the incredible face of actor Colm Feore had me wondering why I haven't focused on the talented actor before. If you don't know Colm Feore, you're wrong, and if you do know of some of his projects, you have only touched the surface of his amazing resume.
Feore's IMDB page is one the longest I have seen with dozens of movies from small independent films through huge blockbusters. On television, he's been in everything from historic dramas like The Borgias, action shows like 24 and political dramas like The West Wing and House of Cards. The busy actor has seven movies headed to the big screen, all due to be released in the upcoming year.
As impressive as his movie and TV resume is, Feore's theatre resume is equally impressive. With his strong and memorable face, Feore was born to emote to the back of the theatre. Although born in Boston, Feore grew up in Canada when as a child, he moved with his family moved to Windsor, Ontario. The aspiring actor attended the National Theatre School of Canada in Montreal.
Romeo & Juliet (1984)
Although Feore appeared on Broadway in 2005 with Denzel Washington in Julius Caesar most of theatre roles have been in Canada. Starting in the early 80's, Feore has appeared in over 20 productions with the Stratford Theatre Festival, North America’s largest classical repertory theatre.
Hamlet (1991)
Cyrano de Bergerac (1994)
King Lear (2014)
Broadway, with Denzel Washington and Jessica Hecht in Julius Caesar (2005)

Richard Rothstein: There's Something About Nick
'A unique visual beauty a man with a camera can feast on.'
As an photographer, Richard Rothstein uses his camera to tell stores. Some are real, some are imagined, but all intensely erotic and rooted in Richard's creative artistry and the visual stimuli that stimulate and motivate his storytelling. Of the many chapters of Richard's I have dove into, some of my favorites are the narratives of Nick.
Since first opening the first page last summer, I have been devouring Richard's stories of Nick. Those first couple of chapters (Nick's Riverside Run | Swing Along the Hudson) were set in the Summer, with Nick swinging, jumping and running outside in New York. The site of Nick working his muscles under the hot August sun created a tantalizing first chapter and an stimulating page turner.
In the next chapter, Richard introduced another character to the story, the mysterious John who joined Nick in a shirtless, and sometimes naked, subway excursion. (Edge of the Platform) The next two volumes of Nick were holiday editions, (HERE:& HERE:) with Nick once again solo, well except for his chestnuts and mistletoe.
As the first year of Richard's Nick novella comes to a conclusion, he certainly cranks up the heat in the stories climatic final chapters. There's something so appealing and mysterious about Nick behind those beautiful eyes and his sensual stare. In addition to Nick's incredible body there's something so intensely hypnotic about the sexual confidence he exudes.
Richard captures each of the quiet but powerful moments, whether Nick is just sitting on a chair, or lying on the hardwood floor. These tiny, split seconds of energy are at the core of Nick's allure and the stories Richard visually unravels.

Just Because: Michael Avenatti
Ok, this is a little embarrassing, but yet I know... I can't be the only one a little turned off, and a little turned on by Michael Avenatti. The lawyer and race car driver (yes race car driver!) has been all over the news the last few weeks, meeting the master of media manipulation with his own game. Yes he's a little over the top and yes he's doing more than just claiming his fifteen minutes, but Avenatti and his client Stormy Daniels have Trump firmly by the tail. Watching him be such a skillful annoyance to the catastrophe in chief brings brief moments of joy in between the shit storm that is the current occupant of The White House.

Rough & Naughty: Will SF by YogaBear Studio
'It felt amazing to be naked in the warm sun in the middle of winter.'
FH readers were first introduced to the Will, and his work with David from YogoaBear Studio a little over two years ago. (Physical Gifts) The sexy massage therapist and Pilates and Yoga instructor has an incredible physique, and I loved hearing Will's fitness and physical journey from gymnastics to diving through to yoga and dance.
Will's physical strength is equally matched by his ability to use his body and personality to create dynamic and incredibly hot images. Having worked together many times, Will and David love working together and have a mutual respect for each others talents and how creatively combustible the results of their work together is.
Given's both Will and David's passion for yoga, the images I chose for the previous piece were mostly shot in studio and focused more on elegant poses and positions focused on long lines and stretch positions. Although maybe a wee bit more subtle, Will's singular brand of naughty was certainly still visually in full effect. For this shoot, Will and David spent the day together outside in the Southern California desert.
'This was such an awesome remote location with very interesting desert rock formations and an abandoned train. The train clearly called for rugged, mass, military, construction and cigar looks. It really brought out the rough and naughty sides of me.'
When we transitioned to the rocks and terrain, we used more of my artistic/yoga skills. It felt amazing to be naked in the warm sun in the middle of winter. We definitely gave some unsuspecting hikers a thrill ;)'
Will
I love that Will embraced his rough and naughty side and my favorite shots from the shoot are the ruggedly erotic images of Will with the cigar, in (and out) of his long johns. The old abandoned train is one of my favorite locations, and I love how David captures such different looks, and how he, and the location, brings out such different sides of the men who choose to climb aboard.
'This was the fifth time that David and I have shot together and it just keeps getting better. David is a super talented photographer who is very passionate about his craft and it shows'

Charlie DePew in Famous In Love
I had never heard of the show Famous In Love, nor the network it aired on. The Disney owned Freedom network has been around for awhile, but until it's re-brand in 2016 was more commonly known as the Family Channel, but along with it's new name, comes some programming directed at a wider audience. Thanks to DC's Men of The Moment site, I spotted some some caps of the ultra hot Charlie DePew, which had me looking for more of the actor and the show.
The smile melting DePew plays Jake Salt, a character described as a down-to-earth guy from the Midwest with an edge who aspires to be a screenwriter and an indie filmmaker. The show also featured Bella Thorne, Georgie Flores and Carter Jenkins. I have just begun watching the show which follows Paige (Thorne) and the changes in her life after getting the lead role in a big-budget blockbuster.
Flash that nipple Charlie!
