Naked Boys Singing
The campy Off-Broadway musical comedy first opened in July 1999 at the Actor's Playhouse in New York City. The show moved to Theatre Four in 2004 and again in 2005 to New World Stages Stage Four. It remained there until it closed in January 2012.

The Vaudeville-style musical review was originally written and directed boy Robert Schrock with musical direction by Stephen Bates and choreography by Jeffry Denman. Many actor have gone through the eight singing and dancing roles, including in the shows 2007 film, and currently, on stage at the Kirk Theatre in NYC.

Pareja Caliente: David and Rixio by Anthony Timiraos
When David Met Rixio....
'They met for the first time the day of the couples shoot. The chemistry was immediately present.'
A few weeks after Anthony's photoshoot with Rixio (seen HERE:), Rixio expressed interest in being photographed with another model. Anthony's third book, expose Love, is due to be published next year and Rixio was excited to be part of the project. After giving it some thought, Anthony felt strongly that Rixio and David were a great match for a shoot. What David didn't know, is that the two models had already been in touch...
'Rixio had seen David's pictures on my Instagram pages and inquired directly from David as to his experience during our photo session before he decided to schedule a shoot with me. After various emails finalizing a date for the shoot, David and Rixio met for the first time in person the day I photographed them together.'
Given this was their first meeting, the level of intimacy and created is especially impressive and intense. Although there is clearly a level of sexual interplay, the feel that Anthony captured is one formed from passion and last, a deep longing to be together, to touch, hold and intertwine their bodies through both a physical and emotional connection. Although we know they just met, we can't help but wonder what happened after, and if they ever came together again...

Stand Out: David by Anthony Timiraos
'I especially love the breadth of diversity Anthony captures. Diversity, not just of race and ethnicity, but diversity of age, body type, and maybe most significant, diversity of culture.'
The line above was part of the forward I was privileged to write for Anthony Timiraos' first book, expose. It was the visual beauty and breadth of diversity that first struck me when browsing the many models and shoots on Anthony's on-line portfolio. Diversity has also been front and center in the featured models Anthony showcases on his site, and in the models Anthony has shared with myself and readers of FH.
Each of the shoots I have featured have highlighted models of different ages, body types and ethnicity. Models as diverse as 22 year old Elo through my last piece featuring Rixio, the 49 year old retired Venezuelan model. If you don't remember Rixio, check out his piece, (A Rousing Retire) as he also played a role in Anthony's work with David.
David was first referred to Anthony by a previous model who was also a fried of David's. David initially contacted Anthony about the second book he is working on, and wondered if Anthony would be interested in including a model of 'a certain age', and not 26, the age of the model that referred David to him. It's funny, when anyone says of 'a certain age', one automatically thinks of experience, but we also think old. There is nothing remotely old about David. Although he turned 50 a couple of years ago, David's goal is to look better than he did in his 30's, and as you can clearly say, he's more than succeeding.
'I looked at his Instagram pictures and immediately scheduled time to meet in the studio. As you know, my goal is to include models of a wide range of ages, body types, skin tones, backgrounds and personalities. David’s look is a perfect addition to my next book. His well proportioned muscular body combined with a salt & pepper/silvery-gray hair makes him stand out on paper. He also has a personality that makes anyone want to cuddle with him.'
I'm not sure 'cuddling' is the first adjective that came to mind for me, especially given how much heat and sensuality the Navy veteran and former certified trainer brings to his work in front of the camera. David describes his two photoshoots (this being the first) with Anthony as wonderful experiences and describes the Florida photographer as both professional and open minded. 'He is open for input but also has a vision.' Anthony's vision is clearly to have every model who steps in front of his lens to be the object of lust, desire, not to mention the odd sensual cuddle!
Speaking of cuddling... David's second time in front of Anthony's lens included some cuddling of sorts, with Rixio. Check our more from their duo shoot, on Page 2 HERE:

Naked Boys...
Last month, when featuring boombazookaboy, (His Naked Truth), the actor and singer discussed his current role on stage in Naked Boys Singing. I began to think of the various performers I have featured over the years who have spent time in the show. I think the first time I featured the show was back in 2009 when doing stories on actors Dave August and Timothy John Mandala.

I revisited the show again in 2012 when I featured actor and singer Ricky Schroeder in the 2012 off-Broadway revival. I specifically remember Ricky's cast had some great promotional shots taken for the run. This had me on the hunt for more casts, and more promotional images of the cast. I chose a few of my favorites and put them together on page 2 HERE:

Do You....
Name your penis?
Studies say about 73% of penis' were given names, some by their owners, but may by their owners partner. Men who name their own penis, not surprisingly tend to pick names which speak of size and strength. Partners however, tend to pick cute, more personal nicknames. Some of the names I understand, but Wilfred and Wendell had me scratching my head. I suspect the 'w' names may have to do with pairing with another 'w', Wilfred the willy?

FaVorite FiVe: Ariel Vanean
I haven't seen BelAmi's Ariel Vanean on film, at least not yet. Like most of the men I feature on FH, I was introduced to the brown eyed beauty through an image. The image is the last one in the piece below. In the shot Ariel is sitting naked on a chair, and with his hand and finger position, seems deep in meditation.
Not all adult sites put as much effort into their promotional photography as they do their movies, but BelAmi certainly does. I saved the image of Ariel awhile ago, not knowing at first who he was. My google search last week turned up a smorgasbord of images of the Slovak Republic model and adult film actor, making choosing just five an enjoyable challenge.

Dreadly: Kyle Bender by Lights on Studio
'This is how I feel when I travel. Lack of sleep and full speed ahead!'
During my time working on FH, hair has been a recurrent visual theme. It makes perfect sense, hair is important to appearance, and often connected with self esteem. No matter what we look like, or what we wear, hair has the power to totally change how we feel about ourselves, and how we're perceived by others. We also are all attracted to different colors styles and lengths of hair on others. Whether it's the hair on our head, on our body, our face or pubic region, decisions about changing our hair's length and appearance is something we've all faced at one time or another.
The power of hair is extraordinary. Not only to change moods and appearance, but to also alter assumptions. When Lights On Studio's Tom Nakielski sent on his work with 27 year old Kyle Bender, I was instantly struck by his hair. Kyle's facial hair and natty dreads instantly brought forth assumptions. Before however cementing Kyle as a weed smoking, incense burning, nature loving hippy I checked out his full Model Mayhem portfolio.
When I'm featuring one artist's work with a model, I don't usually weave in another photographer's images, but in this case, I thought it important to include an image of Kyle from a few years ago before he grew out his hair and he got his dreads.

Not only did Tom not mind, he graciously reached out to Gene fromGWPHOTOGRAPHY to ensure he was ok we included the shot. Not only did Gene's image of Kyle bust any theories I had about Kyle from only seeing his current look, it's also such a beautiful and striking visual contrast with the images from Tom's recent shoot. Although I didn't ask about weed or incense, it is clear that Kyle does share the nature loving, free spirited traits often associated with a guy with dreadlocks.

'A big passion of mine is traveling and the new experiences that come along with it. Working for a year, travel for a year lifestyle has rewarded me with friends from around the world, learning about different cultures, and seeing beautiful corners of the world. Currently traveling Eastern Europe, Russia, Asia and will stop in Australia to flair bartend. See you down under.'
Kyle is currently on his year of travel, hoping to find photographers in Europe, Russia, Asia and Australia to shoot with along the way. Although he does describe himself as laid back and chilled, Kyle is also very adventurous and enjoys skydiving, scuba diving, spinning fire, bartender flaring and participating in Burning Man Events around the world. Kyle's favorite shoots include adventurous and physically challenging concepts and Tom shares that it was Kyle's idea to hang upside down from the rope.
Tom has been enjoying following Kyle on Facebook and reading out his daily exciting experience of making friends at hostels and his travels to Romania, Chernobyl, Auschwitz, France, Poland and Budapest to name a few. Tom says his session was a lot of fun and that Kyle was more than enthusiastic about creating interesting images and offering suggestions about shots and poses. Kyle says many of his creative inspirations for shots comes from his travels and just walking around new cities, towns and beaches and soaking in creative inspiration for his work in front of the camera.

Instagrams that Inspire: Xavier Serrano
What's not to love about Spanish model Xavier Serrano, looks incredible walking the runway or walking the streets of Barcelona where he was scouted and quickly signed to an agency. Xavier looks hot in and out of whatever he's modeling, and is equally adorable dancing in the dressing room for walking the runway.

Mike Tossy: Skinning the Surface
'When I stop struggling... I float'
Given I featured Mike Tossy's imagery of naked models underwater, (HERE:) and naked bodies getting out of the water on the previous page, thought I should add a section on those models skinning on the surface of the water. There is nothing better than laying on the surface, either on a floating device, or directly on the cool water.
I loved this series of images Mike included in his pool series, and thought they needed a section of their own. One of the fun parts about working with Mike's pool shots were not only discovering new models to enjoy, but also spotting some of the familiar faces, and some familiar bodies, Mike captured jumping into the pool.
I recognized several models in the first batch of images Mike sent on, and he was great to send on some additional shots featuring Angelspins and Tristan Woods, two models I have had the pleasure to feature over the last few months.
Mike's pool themed imagery also re-introduced me JayK, a dancer and model I had previously featured on FH several years ago. Some of Mike's shots of JayK were some of my favorites, and had me reaching out to him for a profile I posted earlier this month. (Primal Reactions)
