Spiral Dance: Chris & Sergey by Richard Rothstein

'Energy moves in cycles, circles, spirals, vortexes, whirls, pulsations, waves, and rhythms—rarely if ever in simple straight lines.'
Starhawk

With our without her crown, Sergeyremains a Goddess. With our without his wings, Chrisstill flys. One of things I loved so much about Richard Rothstein putting the two dancers together, was how they moved so seamlessly as one. There is an erotic charge when Sergey and Chris are together and despite how energized their movements are, they always remain connected, moving together, skin never losing contact with skin.

There is a rich history and tradition of group dance practiced within the Neopaganism religion. Whether it be two people, four, or many more, the dancers lever lose touch, strengthening both their power, and their ability to fight off evil. Together, connected, they are stronger. This type of dance is called spiral dance, and sometimes also called the weaver's or grapevine dance. The dance is designed to celebrate community and rebirth, and also to raise the power during the ritual.

The spiral dance usually begins with drums and chants and each member involved, hold hands and move in counter-clockwise motion using a grapevine step. As they continue along this formation, every dancer eventually comes face to face with each of the other dancers in the formation. When there's more than two dancers, the bond is strengthened and the dance more intricate, when only two dancers are involved, it becomes more sensual and intimate.

'In some close-knit spiral dances, when all members are comfortable with the idea, a kiss is given to each person at the moment they pass each other in the dance.'

With Sergey and Chris, the dance, then a kiss served as a catalyst for the Goddess' euphoric final dance of release.  See more of the dance on Richard Rothstein's OnlyFans page HERE:

Three shots below by Bronson Photo

I first noticed the powerful allure of Charlie Williams not as an actor, singer or model, but as a model. After seeing his work with photographer Rae Garcia, I profiled Charlie's work as a model back in 2009. (HERE:) It was the following year, while following coverage of Broadway Bares, that I learned the full extent of the sexy performers talent.

Not only did Williams help raise a lot of money for the cause, his Strip-Opoly performance was a favorite. As hard as Charlie tried to provide enough towels for a very demanding crowd, it was of course Broadway Bares, so in the end, the towels had to come off.

Williams has not only performed on the Broadway Bares stage, he's also choreographed some of the shows most popular numbers. If you're a Broadway fan, you may have seen Charlie's work on stage,or as part of the choreography team on showing including; Memphis, Miss Saigon, Hedwig and the Angry Inch and How to Succeed in Business Without Even Trying. Currently, Williams is part of the both the cast of The Cher Show and performing and choreographing with the Broadway production of Frozen.

The Goddess & the Raven: Sergey & Chris by Richard Rothstein

'The raven spread out its glossy wings and departed like hope.'
Cecilia Dart-Thornton

Although many species of birds exist in world lore, and are written about in literature, fables and mythology, one of the most reverenced is the raven. In most cases, maybe primarily thanks to Poe, the raven has been written as a precursor of doom. Ravens were used as spies, as symbols of bad luck, and associated with the dead and lost souls.

Not all legends depict the raven as bearers of doom. According to Ukrainian legend, the raven was believed to have once had exquisitely colored feathers, and a beautiful singing voice.  This, before the fall of the Angels from Heaven. After the fall, the raven's plumage turned black and they lost their voices. It however believed that their voices and their former vibrant colors will return to them after Paradise is once again restored upon the earth.

It is elements of this Ukrainian legend, elements that celebrate the raven's beauty, as well as the magical ravens relationship with the Goddess of the forest, at the core of this erotically enchanting new series from photographer Richard Rothstein. .

The shoot depicts Sergey, the Ukrainian Goddess, dancing in the woods with Chris, her magical raven. Regular FH readers are familiar with both Sergey and Chris and their creative collaborations with Richard. I've been fortunate to share many of these on the site.  This particular shoot, and this particular dance, is thousands of miles, and hundreds of years, from the previous dances that I've featured

'Sergey wanted to represent his Ukrainian heritage. We had the crown custom made by an artist in the Ukraine. It was an honor and pleasure to do that with him. The shoot represents Sergey’s legacy and the depth to which he inspires me and made my life more beautiful.'

As the story begins, the Goddess befriends the raven, enchanted by his beauty, and the raven's magical powers,  invites him to live and play in her forest playground. They spend their days dancing through the woods, celebrating their friendship, their creative energy and the love and lust they share.

One of their games involves painting each other body's in vibrant colors.  The raven's love for his Goddess has no bounds, and the story suggests, the raven, filled love and admiration, exhausts all of the vibrant colors while painting glorious colors on the Goddess' crown and body.  When it's time for the Goddess' to paint the raven, their no color left.

The raven is more than fine remaining just one color.  In part because of the striking visual they create dancing through the forest but as well, the raven knows it will be the Goddess' vibrant colors that attract their enemies first, giving him plenty of time to fly away.  The raven may be in love, but their raven roots remain intact.  This bird's no fool.

Prime Time Supporters: Derek Smith in What/If

Last week, I posted about Blake Jenner and his role in the new Netflix series What/If. (HERE:)  I hadn't seen the ten episode first season when I posted, but was eager to check it out after reading about the series, my love for Renée Zellweger, and after seeing the captures of Blake's butt scene in the first episode.

The critics weren't that kind, but some also missed the allure of powerful performances and the addictive quality to the worlds created by writer Mike Kelly.  I'm just half way through season 1 and although there are some clunky scenes, some over the top dialogue, and many hole filled plot points, it's still a lot of fun, mostly due to stellar cast and how fully Renée dives into her juicy role.

The cast full of talented actors, not to mention a feast of male eye candy.  In addition to Blake Jenner, there were about a half a dozen actors I was madly IMDB'ing to find out more about.  On the top of that list, was the sexy ginger Derek Jamieson Smith who plays Kevin.

Kevin is first introduced as a bartender who acts as a sounding board to Marco (Juan Castano) who's had a bad day.  I wasn't initially sure if that scene would be a one and done, but we soon saw Kevin stripping and then joining Marco and his boyfriend Lionel (John Clarence Stewart) for a very hot threesome.  Hoping if What/If comes back for a second season, there will be more of Kevin to enjoy!

All About the Benjamins

Benjamin by Tom Cullis

'From the moment his first image from photographer Tom Cullis hit the web, Benjamin Godfre has been causing sensations. The Minnesota native never dreamed modeling would be a part of his future but after becoming the face, not to mention the crotch, of Timoteo, we were all running out to buy our own yellow pair! Of course we all don’t look as good in our skivvies as he does and Ben is smart enough to know it.'

Like most lovers of the male form, the first time I noticed model Benjamin Godfre, he was sporting a pair of tight Timoteos. Back in the late 2000's, Benjamin caused a series of tremors across the net with his his yellow and red undies and with his work with photographer Tom Cullis. Benjamin first appeared on FH in those Timoteos back in 2008, and was a fixture on the site for the next several years. In 2009, Benjamin came in second, just behind Joseph Sayers, in FH's Blog vote poll. (HERE:) (Just behind the fellow Timoteo wearing Joseph Sayers)

Ben by Robert J. Guttke

I interviewed Ben several times over the years, the first, back in 2011, for a feature spotlighting his work with photographer Jon Seneca. (The Serious Case of Benjamin Godfre) I followed up that piece a few weeks later featuring Ben's work with photographer Carl Proctor. (A Thousand Image Later)  If you look closely at those two pieces, although there were a few discrete penis peeks, there were no full frontals images included.

Benjamin by Jon Seneca

I had gone back and forth with Ben several times about what images to use. Ben put his marketing and business major to good during this process. He wanted to feature images which evoked interest, but as well, ensure there was plenty left to share in the future. Carl Proctor had sent on a really hot set of Ben in the woods.  Many of you may have since the shots from that series which featured Ben in leather hand and leg cuffs. The images had a fetish feel and Carl shot them not only for a specific reason, but for a specific set of eyes.

Although Ben went on to release the full set, at the time of my posts, he was just beginning the launch his new website.  Ben had a very specific time line for when and how his images were going to be released.  Those of you who checked out the site back in 2011 and 2012 may remember the slow release of images and videos and the build to full frontal shots and more erotic content.

Benjamin by Carl Proctor

Although fans can be fickle, Ben's plan worked, and he amassed thousands of Benjaminions, his name for the huge following of fans who joined the site and looked forward to his constant flow of new images and videos.  Ben skillfully connected with his fans in a very personal way, communicating both on-line, and off, calling them, meeting them, and celebrating them on his site

'I LOVE my fans and they mean a lot to me. It’s not even work, it’s play. I like to cultivate relationships and I want to see how huge we can grow as a group! Everyone should be having a blast right along side with me!'

The following year, Ben's penis was no longer in the shadows, and seemed to be everywhere, including my FH interview with photographer Paul Reitz, ((HERE:)  I interviewed Ben a third time late in 2012 in in my role as features editor for his cover story in the third issue tMf Magazine. While recently searching the FH archives for images of another model, I re-read some of pieces on Ben and couldn't help but be curious as to what he' sup to.

I remembered my back and forths with photographer Robert J. Guttke, (The Picture Of)  about his time working Ben.  Robert took some his earliest, and most powerfully memorable images. Robert knew Ben when he was just beginning, before his work with Tom Cullis and Timoteo,  and captured a model, and his youthful essence, before the massive changes which occurred after moving from Minnesota for California to make it big.

Benjamin by Dylan Rosser for tMf

Although Ben was initially very patient with releasing material, before long, the site had taken off and the demand for new images and videos was unrelenting.  It soon wasn't enough that Ben was revealing every inch of his body, followers still wanted more.... and Ben supplied it. More erotic shoots, more erotic videos, from tickling to sexual interactions with other models, Ben worked at a frantic pace, working with different photographers and porn sites to increase the collection of material on his site. A highlight for me, and many, was the introduction of Ben's younger brother Michael to the site, and the naked skateboarding video's they released.

Benjamin by Paul Reitz

Like with most Internet phenomenons, Ben's site had a slow but steady build followed by a quick fall.  It wasn't that he didn't work hard to give his followers what they wanted, it was simply that over time, what followers wanted something, someone, new to follow.  Ben remains however, one of the most successful models at putting together a large amount of product, for an equally large following, He worked incredibly hard, to keep their interest, and to have them spend their money, over a relatively long period of time.  In some ways, Ben perfected the format of Onlyfans, years before Onlyfans was created.

When I recently checked out Ben's current on-line presence, I was surprised to see that he's is still fairly active on social media.  His site is long gone, but he still posts occasionally on Facebook, often to promote his music.  Ben seems more active on Twitter,  sharing updates, erotic images, and promoting an actual OnlyFans site, which looks to have started this past April.  Ben's look has changed, he's a little older, (as we all are) and has more than a few new tats.   What hasn't seemed to changed though, is Ben's ability to interact and connect with those who follow his work.  Despite how incredibly hot Ben looked without his clothes on, it really wasn't Ben's body that had fans wanting more.  In order to sustain interest, even over just the few years that he did, it took planning and that connection with those who fooled.  This was something Ben knew and practiced incredibly well.

'I like David's story telling and painterly characterization of personality body...The body mind connection, with the subtle yet powerful impact of the environment I am in.'

Baker Model

Baker Model's words beautifully summarize why I've continued to be drawn back to David's (YogaBear Studio) work, since first featuring his imagery in 2011.  The word 'natural' has become a bit overused, but there's an organic quality to David's work, as his camera visually drills to the core of who his subjects are.  Not just them as individuals, but as men, men connected to their masculinity, to their environment, and to society as a whole.  With the definition of masculine often corrupted and blurred by men so many men in power and the media, David captures are of the core are always erotically refreshing.

Broadway Bares (2003)

I first featured the talented and adorable Matt Cavenaugh back in 2009. (HERE:) Although I was aware of his Broadway role in Urban Cowboy, and 2002 Broadway Bares appearance,  I first noticed Matt from his role in the 2003 flick Sexual Dependency and his soap opera appearances.   My crush only deepened after seeing his Tony performance as Tony in the Broadway revival of West Side Story. (previous post HERE:)

I recently came upon these two shots of Matt as a rather fetching inspiration for an obviously attentive artist.  I'm not exactly sure what stage project it's from.   I believe the artist is the talent actor and singer Max Von Essen.  Max and Matt were in the off Broadway production of Death Takes A Holiday, but I'm not sure it's from that production.  The two actors also performed together in the 2003 one night Christmas event, A Queer Carol, so it could also be from that.  Anyone have any idea, or any other shots?

Clayton by Anthony Timiraos: Won't You Be My Neighbor?

$

'Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his man-servant, nor his maid-servant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is thy neighbor's.'
Exodus 20:17

Although most of the ten commandments are about action, the tenth is a little trickier, as it's more aimed at our thoughts.  Thou shall not covet, warns against being jealous of the things our neighbor has and possesses. It cautions the dangers of taking, wanting, or longing for the relationships and dominion of our neighbor.

So, what if we don't covet our neighbor's possessions, but the neighbor themselves?  What if we don't long for his ass (as in donkey) but his ass. (as in actual ass....)  Truly a dilemma, but one I don't believe actually frowned upon or forbidden by the higher ups.  We've all had crushes over that cute boy next door, but for many of us, a hot daddy next door would be much more desirable.

FH readers were fist introduced to the hot father of four Clayton about a year ago when I featured Richard Rothstein's shots of Clayton's naked stroll around Manhattan. (A Walk in the Park)  Clayton's incredible body, and his equally fascinating story, grabbed the attention of many last year.  Lovers of the male form, news outlets, websites, and more than few photographers of the male form.

One of those who photographers was Anthony Timiraos who Clayton reached out to last year.  Clayton had seen Anthony's work and was interested in being considered for one of Anthony's upcoming books.  Clayton's request wasn't one Anthony could, or wanted to ignore and these shots are just a small sampling of their work together, much more of which can be seen in Anthony's last book, expose more.

'A tall, handsome, muscular, daddy. If I was asked to describe Clay in four words only, those four are the ones that come to my mind immediately. Yes, in today’s world, the word “daddy” is also an adjective. His strong dedication to a balanced diet and exercise is reflected with one of the most amazing physiques I have photographed. Wrap all those compliments together and add “one heck of a nice man” to the recipe to create the person.

The shadows on his torso from my studio lights during the shooting emphasized a well proportioned, detailed and chiseled muscular build. Beard and grayish hair framed his face and provided a great accent to his smooth body. A great collaborator and new friend.'
Anthony Timiraos  expose more.

'Tony does such amazing work, I love working with him and we’ve become great friends. He is just easy to work with and his direction is spot on. He’s knows how to get the best from his models.'

Anthony and Clayton have actually become good friends, and good neighbors.  During one of their photo shoots, Clayton mentioned he was looking to purchase a small condo in Fort Lauderdale.  Anthony, not missing a beat, suggested he consider the building that he resides in.  Anthony's no fool, there's nothing better for a photographer than a a hot model living in the same building.  Makes avoiding a shoot, particularly complicated....  As a bonus, Anthony often  'accidentally' bumps into Clayton during his daily workouts in the building gym, or catches him doing laps in the pool. At least Anthony isn't showing up looking for a cup of sugar, or is he....

Instagrams That Inspire: ryflips

I first saw images of Ryan (ryflips) last year on one of my favorites sites, Aussielicious.  Site creator and photographer Brenton Parry had photographed the aerial director and acrobat for a series entitled Black & Gold. (HERE:)  Brenton shared that Ryan is a former Cirque Du Soleil acrobat who has also worked with the amazing P!NK.

Ryan by larrybpnyc

Ryan is also a regular performer in Broadway Bares, which is why this is the perfect time to feature some of my favorite images.  I had tucked away a shot of Brenton's last year, but came upon Ryan's Instagram again this spring during one of my odd holiday image searches.

While googling hot naked Easter bunnies (as one does) I came upon the egglicious shot of Ryan at the top of this post.  This had me spending more time than really required for research, scrolling through Ryan's incredible Instagram portfolio.  As you can see, Ryan is more than comfortable displaying his talents, and making sure there are plenty of shots of his finest assets.

With the Broadway Bares stripAthon just around the corner, Ryan encouraged a few friends to bare their asses with him to help grab attention for his Broadway Cares Fundraising page.  Consider my attention grabbed!
