FH ended the month of July with Bodytorium, and his amazing set of images of Andrew and Lukas. (HERE:) I don't know about you, but I couldn't get enough of the sexy pair, especially Lukas.  In addition to incredible body and smile, Lukas appeared to be having so much fun frolicking naked in the woods.

Check out more of Bodytorium, and his work with Lukas on PAGE 2 HERE:

Hopefully this senior will pic up some undies when he goes back to school shopping.  I personally prefer his commando look, but it may not so over as well when he bends to tie his shoe in his 12 grade Economics class.

In Studio: Van Ryder by Greg Lindeblom

'Van Ryder is not only physically beautiful, but he is creative, enthusiastic, and courageous. That is a thoroughly winning combination.'

Earlier this year, I featured the stunning Van Ryder, with a focus on his location shoot (Naked Palms) with Florida based photographer Greg Lindeblom.  Greg also sent along a series of images from their studio shoot, images I originally included in the original piece.  As I put the piece together, I realized the studio shoot required a spotlighted focus of their own.

I loved Van's look, especially his gorgeous brown eyes and strong and strapping physique. Greg perfectly captured Van's statuesque figure in a series of classic male physique style poses.  It was actually these shots from the studio shoot that sparked the theme of the original post characterizing why I often alternate using the word 'body' and the word physique, depending on the model, the image, and especially the pose.

Greg's images of Van Ryder hark back to the classic physique poses we think about from decades long past. Except for the thankfully missing posing pouch, Greg's images of of Van are timeless, and could have been taken back in a time when the focus of images of the male form was almost multilayered.

On the surface, classic physique style poses were about fitness, muscular strength, body shape and tone.  That was indeed a real focus, and for some models and bodybuilders, provided a legitimate reason to pose.  Not so hidden however, just under the surface, was another focus, and another audience who appreciated the images for other reasons.

In truth, it didn't really matter, nor does it matter today.  Van Ryer's impressive physique, and incredibly hot body, are impressive and enjoyable to view, regardless of the viewers reasons or motivation.  Whether it's his beautifully thick legs, toned chest and stomach.  Whether it's his handsome face and those gorgeous brown eyes.  Whether it's Van's impressive sword, or his perfectly shaped butt, each are magnificently spotlighted through his work with Greg. I'm confident, that both model and photographer would be happy with whatever reason it was, that grabbed your attention.

Prime Time Supporters: Jesse Luken

Some FH readers might remember that my insomnia often leads to inspiration for hunks to feature.  Most often, I try to find a mindless sit-com, something that that won't keep me up interested in the plot, but something mindless, and easy to drift off to.

Mom (2016)

I usually avoid Chuck Lorre sit-coms, not a huge fan of most of his shows, and usually find the humor more juvenile than funny.  I did however, find myself recently checking out old repeats of Mom late at night, and the performances, most notably from Mimi Kennedy and Allison Janney, held my attention.

One of the episodes I watched was called Beast Mode and Old People Kissing, and it featured a multi-pierced actor who drew eye.  I should have know who Jesse Luken was, he's been a few shows that I watched, including a few episodes of Glee, but it was his role as Travis on Mom, that grabbed my attention.

In part it may have been the character her was playing, a damaged addict, dealing with the guilt over his girlfriends death, but even on this sit-com I've barely seen, Jesse was incredibly compelling.  Thus far, Jesse has had just one brief, very brief nude scene, a quick butt flash in a 2017 episode of Underground, but I'm quite sure there will be many more parts, and many more skin scenes in his future.

Although Seinfeld, and Warburton's many other TV and movie appearances gave us great views of his incredible chest and torso, that was but an appetiser, a taste of what was to to come.. Eight years after Warburton's last appearance as David Puddy that he appeared in The Civilization of Maxwell Bright. (2005)  In the films first few minutes we got the full Monty.

Elaine: Get those clothes off. You’re going to spend the night and we’re going to cuddle.
Puddy: What?
Elaine: You heard me. Strip!

Over it's nine seasons, Seinfeld's Jerry and Elaine had countless partners, it seemed every week, there was a new man or woman coming in an out of their bedrooms.  The boyfriend of Elaine's to stick around for multiple episodes, and multiple seasons, was David Puddy played the ultra sexy Patrick Warburton.

Puddy was probably most viewers favorite as far as the many men in Elaine's life, and more than sponge worthy!  If Elaine wasn't so selfish (and all the Seinfeld characters were written as fairly self absorbed...) she would have seen she wouldn't do better than Puddy, Devil's fan, religious believes, fur coat or not!

Seinfeld wasn't Patrick's first TV role, he'd been acting on TV and on film for a decade by the time he joined the series, but the show certainly kicked his career into high gear.  Walburton was originally going to be a  marine biologist, and studied marine biology at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, California.

Show business was calling however, and Warburton soon dropped out to try his hand at acting and modeling.  Warburton's chiseled face and hot body quickly got him work as a model and before long guest appearances on TV followed.  In addition to his sexy look, Warburton's voice was also deep and distinctive and much of his current work is voice work on shows like Archer, Scooby-Doo and The Cleveland Show.

Many of Warburton's television roles, including on Seinfeld,  have wisely required him to strip down and show of his sexy hairy chest.  As many of you know, Warburton showed off much more on film which you can check out in the post just below.

Body Study: Robyn David by macpics

'It was rather flattering to be stylised as Michelangelo's David.'

Those who love visuals of the male form know that Michelangelo's David is one of the most iconic depictions of the male body art. It has also been the inspiration of many painters, artists and photographers, including Ian from macpics, who used the famous sculpture as inspiration for his work with Australian model Robyn David.

Some of you may remember my profile and interview with Robyn from back in 2015. (The Melbourne One)  The piece included some of my favorite images of Robyn by a variety of photographers including Steven Granger, Darron Sandford, William Eicholtz and Lucas Ferrier.  I was introduced to to Robyn's work through his work with macpics, and did a small follow-up featuring Ian's figure study themed shoot with Robyn.

For that first piece, we didn't use full nudes, as we wanted the focus to remain on figure and body, not necessarily specific body parts.  Some of my favorite images from the shoot (especially the last image in this piece) were full nudes, so I recently asked (bugged) Robyn if we might revisit the shoot, and theme and use all of the shot available.  Robyn graciously agreed.  Then it was just a matter of again asking (bugging) Ian for the complete set of images which he generously sent on.  the text below is from the original piece, but most of the images featured here were not previously featured on FH.

After seeing Robyn on Ian's portfolio, there was something about his images that stuck with me and had me wanting to see and learn more. Robyn has such a great face with such expressive eyes, not to mention his amazing hair. There is something both modern, yet distinctly classic and timeless about the poses and angles that Ian captured.

Robyn has a bit of a 60's or 70's vibe. It is not just his beautiful shaggy blonde hair but there is also a carefree, almost spiritual feel about him. His look, along with the colors and poses Ian captured, reminded me of a blend of classic Renaissance sculpture mixed with 1950's physique photography. The visual combination, especially with the deep red contrasting Robyn's hair, skin and the white of the fabric, create a series of striking visuals.

Ian shares that the theme for the shoot came when he was checking out Robyn's portfolio before their shoot and one of the images of Robyn's he saw reminded him of Michelangelo's David. He then got the idea to shoot Robyn using classical statues as the inspiration for set-up and pose.

The the 23 year old Melbourne Australia model says working with Ian, and recreating the classic statues was an interesting experience a lot of fun. Robyn reports that Ian brought along a few example shots and the worked with them to develop each shot and pose. Robyn has spent years working out, and experimenting with different eating plans to transform his body to look as he does today. 'It was rather flattering to be stylised as David, really!'

''Robyn was great to work with, cooperative and easy-going. He took an active part in creating poses and didn't just let me direct him. If he felt that he could do this or that better where the pose was concerned, he did, and he was the one who turned the white material into a loin-cloth. I'd never thought of doing that way, although I've tried to do something like it with other models!'

I loved so many from this set, it was impossible to narrow down my favorites.  If you're enjoying Ian's shots and want to enjoy a few more, check out more on PAGE 2 HERE:

'Get naked boy!'
Ma

Although Octavia Spencer has been making some great films the last few years, the reviews for Ma were pretty horrid....  I'm hoping the film will have a 'it's so bad, it's good' kind of of feel. Showgirls defined the 'so bad, it's good' genre, and I've been waiting for some follow-ups.

The embarrassment nudity scene with Chaz.(Gianni Paolo) certainly has me wanting to microwave the popcorn and settle in for a peak.

Seinfeld has always been a show I've been both hot and cold on.  After it ended it's run on NBC, I bought all the DVD's as there were many episodes I hadn't seen.  I never put those DVD's in once, and ended up selling them on e-bay a few years later.  I caught the odd repeat on TV and sometimes loved the episode, and sometimes didn't.

Last month, when the show celebrated it's 30th anniversary, the show was everywhere again, on TV, magazines and on-line websites.  It had me wanting to give it another look.  Over the last month, I've watched most of the episodes, (skipping most of season 1 & 2) and again fell in love with the show.  Jerry gets sexier the more you watch and the supporting and guest cast is incredible.

I love whenever Jerry's parents (Liz Sheridan, Barney Martin) are on, especially when the show briefly visits Miami, or when Helen meets the close talker.  There were many great looking guys who passed through the show over the years, many playing boyfriends of Elaine, but others as friends and co-workers.  Over the next month or so, I'm going to feature a few of my favorites.  The choice of who to begin with was obvious, the delicious actor and former model, (below) who played Elaine's  most featured boyfriend during the shows run.  Check him out on PAGE 2 with Actor (HERE:) & Skin (HERE:)

Photogenic Porn Stars: Justin Owen

' Always down for a nice workout and breaking a sweat.'
Justin Owen

Although I love visuals of the male form, I'm not really that educated on male porn stars.  Of course I've certainly seen many clips and films, my introduction to most porn stars usually comes from still images.  Being a porn star doesn't necessarily mean you're a natural in front of the camera,  but it does often bring about a comfort and body confidence in front of the camera.

During his brief time in adult films, Justin Owen became an instant fan favorite.  Justin brought incredible energy and enthusiasm to his work and worked with many of the industry's biggest studios.  I first noticed Justin through the promotional images shot by Olen Photo used to promote Justin's work with Dylan Lucas.  Ed Olen is know for his incredible images of models on the beach, and his shots of Justin are some of my favorites.

Justin by Olen Photo

Justin left the industry a few years ago, and hasn't posted on his official Twitter page since 2016. if you check out his current Facebook page, religion and his faith are at the top of his priority list.   If you want see, and learn more about Justin, PBC (Porn Base Central) has a great page with info and pics.

Bare Essence: Danny by Joe Mazza

The Boxer’s Journey
Daniel Young by Joe Mazza

Models often display, and photographers often capture aspects of a models personality.  Their fun or flirty side, happiness, sadness or an expressed emotion.  Depending on the concept, and the model's comfortability, capturing personality and emotion can be challenging on it's own.  Going beyond, seeking to capture a model's essence, their bare essence, is when the nexus between artist and subject  is most important, and intimate.

The intimacy is rooted in trust and vulnerablity on the part of both players.  Most think it's only the model that must express emotion, but in order to truly trust, they must feel the artist behind the lens is also going to see, understand, and respectfully not only capture, but transmit and display what their sharing through the final images.

Personality can be seen, it' in the eyes, a model's smile, movement and pose.  Essence is more intrinsic and abstract, it's quieter and still.  it's not so much about movement or pose as it is about the intent behind them.  Anyone can sit in a chair, wear an athletic supporter, or put on a pair of boxing gloves and have their picture taken.   It's the connection that a model may have with them, that makes up the essence that Joe Mazza so beautifully captures in this series with Danny.

'Daniel Young is a personal trainer in San Francisco, an incredibly sweet person and one of my closest friends. We’ve known each other for almost 20 years and this series of photos with will always be one of my favorites. It took several years of coaxing to get him to agree to come in for a shoot; he’s very humble and a little private so when he came to me and said he was ready to be photographed I knew we had to design something special for him.'

'Daniel is clearly dedicated to being physically fit, mixing up his training with weights, boxing, martial arts, ballet for balance and running the stairs and hills in San Francisco. I pitched him the idea of telling a story of a boxer getting ready for a fight and he was excited to finally put himself in front of my camera. The shoot was a collaboration between two good friends and I think it shows in the images'

'The inspiration for the images: My background is in film so when ever possible, I look for deeper themes and levels when I do editorial stories. When I shoot with men, especially men who exude strength or traditional masculinity, I try to include their vulnerability. In this series, I wanted to use a boxer as a metaphor to depict how solitary it can be to prepare ourselves for challenges ahead as well as the journey from self doubt to surrender and finally to inner strength.'
