12 Days: Harvest Hunks

Ryan Paevey

On the First Day of Christmas...

Paevey in Harvest Love

On FH, 12 Days began back in 2009.  I did a piece featuring the hot hunks from the Kristin Chenoweth TV movie The 12 Men of Christmas.  I hadn't seen the movie when I did the piece, I hadn't really seen any holiday movies on Lifetime or Hallmark.  I thought I hated them, my mom watched them all the time and I avoided seeing any for a very long time.

Wes Brown in Over the Moon in Love

I continued the theme however, as I did love Christmas movies, and holiday hunks.  I'm not sure which movie changed by mind, but I've grown to sort of love/hate Hallmark during the holidays.  The movies have a formula for sure, they're predictable, corny, but also oddly comforting.  This has been especially true for me give some changes in my personal life, not to mention the political shitstorm that has overshadowed the last few years....

Jesse Hutch in Harvest Moon

I am sort of looking forward to turning on the Hallmark channel this month, the only time of year really that I have it on.  I don't always sit down and actually watch, but most of the movies are written to be followed even as background noise.  I haven't had a chance to catch any of their Autumn series of movies, but there was one Harvest Hunk I wanted to re-shine the spotlight on.  Check him (and his incredible bubble butt...) on PAGE 2 HERE:

A Little Nudge: Lukas & Robert by Bodytorium

'Sometimes straight guys enjoy getting a little bit of a nudge from a gay guy to let themselves experience male friendship more freely.'
Phil, Bodytorium

Robert

There are so many things I appreciate and love about Phil's (Bodytorium) work. Near the top of that list, is Phil's process stories.  One of the first things I like to ask models who shoot nudes is about process.  I'm fascinated by the process, both the actual, as well as  the emotional and mental processes that brought them to make the decision.

For some models, it's a fairly easy decision.  They're comfortable with their body, have a bit of an exhibitionist streak, and have had positive experiences with public nudity in their pasts.  For others, the decision is more complex, insecurities, worries about reception, and concerns about career, and especially family or friends can have an impact.

This is especially true for younger guys who've never modeled before.  If you've checked my previous post from Bodytorium, you're aware that Phil often shoots guys who've never been photographed before, let alone without any clothing.  In addition to friends, and friends of friends, Phil often approaches guys he see's both online, or when out at a festival or other public event.

For these guys, being asked to model naked by a complete stranger, usually requires a little thought... This is especially true if your're an 18 year old completing your senior year in high school.  Legally an adult, yet still having to deal with parental issues, peer pressure, and all of the social aspects of navigating your way through a consequential and transitional period in your life.

That's exactly where Lukas and Robert found themselves when they met Phil.  Both eager and interested, both had to weigh the pros and cons, not to mention the nerves, connected with taking it all off for a nude shoot.  The online world can be  difficult to navigate through for adults.  It can be tough ad cruel, even without adding on the already judgement filled world of high school life.

'I met Lukas K through Instagram. He just followed me on IG and liked all my pictures. Then I followed him back, liked all his pictures, and that's how it stayed for a while. A few weeks later I messaged him and asked him if he'd be interested in modeling. He said he'd think about it.

Later, Lukas messaged and asked if he could bring a friend. That friend was Robert. I wrote back and forth with Robert a few times and Robert decided he didn't want to pose completely nude.Once Lukas learned Robert didn't want to pose nude, he didn't want to do it either'.

'About a month later, I asked another model, Andrew if he knew anyone who'd be good for my site. He mentioned Lukas K. I told Andrew that I already tried and explained how Lukas almost agreed to it but changed his mind after Robert decided not to go. Andrew said: "Don't worry, I'll take care of it." And he did. A day later Lukas wrote back and said he was in, along with Robert.'

'I never asked Andrew what he did and how he got them to change their minds so suddenly. My guess is that Andrew has that alpha male / flock leader influence. Andrew is definitely much more decisive and confident. He probably told them I don't bite and that they have nothing to worry about.

I met up with Lukas first since I was running out of time to post something new. He lives in Martin - the same town where Andrew, Lukas N  and Robert also live. I spent a year in Martin with my godparents when I was a teen and it was one of the best years in my life. It definitely led to my decision to eventually move back to Slovakia.'

'I completed the first outdoor set with Lukas in Martin. A week later, Lukas and Robert took the train to meet with me in Bratislava. While they were on their way, Lukas kept sending me picture updates from the train and I kept thinking OMG these guys are adorable! We found a beautiful spot in the Carpathian hills not too far from the city.

Robert is a very curious guy and seemed to want to know everything about me. He kept asking questions all day. We really enjoyed the day. We all had fun, the guys were super friendly and comfortable and they took turns recording a video while I photographed. All day, I was blown away by the hotness I was seeing. Should I pinch myself? Is this really happening? Am I dreaming?'

'I think that Lukas and Robert had a very special, memorable and bonding experience together. Sometimes straight guys enjoy getting a little bit of a nudge from a gay guy to let themselves experience male friendship more freely.'

Check out much more, with hundreds of of additional shots of Lukas & Robert on Bodytorium

Firsts: Michael Douglas in Hail Hero

Whenever I put together a post saluting award show nominee's, I look for unique images and lesser known projects of the actors involved.  Over the last few years, Michael Douglas has been a frequent nominee, for his role as Sandy Kominsky on The Kominsky Method.

When I did this past years EMMY nominee's, I decided to skip including images of Douglas as I couldn't really find anything new.  I'd already posted his nude scenes from Fatal Attraction, Basic Instinct and Beyond the Candelabra. There was one nude scene however, his first, I couldn't find much about.

Back in 1969, when Douglas was just 25, he took on the lead role in the film adaptation of John Weston's novel Hail Hero!  I had seen one old cap, of Douglas jumping naked into a lake, but decided to hunt down the film myself.  I think it was seeing Fatal Attraction on VHS as a kid that first introduced me to Douglas and his considerable sex appeal.  Douglas was 43 when Fatal Attraction was released and it was fun to go back and check out a scene from close to 20 years earlier.

Actors & SKIN: Steve Guttenberg

So in addition to 1987's The Bedroom Window, Guttenberg also had a great nude scene in 1983's The Man Who Wasn't There.  I hadn't heard of the actors nude scene before, maybe because it's one of the many eighties film that hasn't appeared to have made the leap to DVD.  The caps below are from a VHS copy, so not exactly HD, but still fun, and sexy!

'From 1980 to 1990, I shot more films than any other actor in the Screen Actors Guild, apart from Gene Hackman.'
Steve Guttenberg

Sustaining a successful film career isn't easy.  Not everyone can be Tom Hanks or Meryl Streep, and headline successful mainstream features over four plus decades. Sometimes, you have to guest on a network sit-com to keep those IMDB credits going.

Saturday Night Live (1986)

For some reason, I was  little sad to recently see Steve Guttenberg guest starring as Dr. Katman on The Goldbergs.  Despite it's repetitive story lines, I like The Goldbergs well enough.  Guttenberg however, was such a huge part of my childhood.  When I was a kid, it seemed that he was in almost every movie I saw and loved.

Cocoon (1985)

Truth is, he actually was.  During the eighties, when I transitioned from toddler to teen,  Guttenberg was in some of Hollywood's biggest films.  From critically acclaimed films like Diner, to blockbusters like Cocoon, Short Circuit, 3 Men and a Baby and the Police Academy franchise.  Although Guttenberg has worked steadily since, my last real memory of him in a studio film was Jodi Foster's Home For The Holidays in 1995.

Although Guttenberg was always known as 'cute', I always thought he was incredibly sexy.  After seeing him play the goofball in so many movies, I remember being shocked, and thrilled seeing Guttenberg's nude scene in 1987's The Bedroom Window.  I knew he had a sexy furry chest, but was not prepared for his tight hot behind when he walked access that bedroom to the bathroom at the beginning of the film.

Although I'd seen screen caps of Guttenberg's beautiful butt from other projects, had sort of thought his scene in The Bedroom Window was it for on-screen nudity.  Thanks to a recently post on DC however, I went back to 1983 to discover another one.  Check it out in the SKIN portion of this piece below!

The good news however, is that Guttenberg seems to be making a bit of a big screen come-back, with eight films due for release including co-starring with Bruce Willis in the soon to be released Trauma Center.  I don't know Guttenberg's politics, but he's also co-starring in a right wing slanted Roe Vs Wade film featuring  Jon Voight, Joey Lawrence and Stacey Dash....  Just to confuse matters, on the flip side, he's also featured along with Gina Gershon, Louis Garrel in Woody Allen's next film.

'I enjoy facing the camera and love that I'm capturing my youth and my growth.  To be honest, I also enjoy getting naked, and also would love to know how people think about my look and body. I always love feedback. I also like exchanging ideas. Even exchanging modeling pics and giving feedback to each other.'

When I saw my first images of KB, I can easily tell you exactly what I thought.  Beautiful and incredibly hot!  Not every image of every model combines both beauty and hotness, nor is that always the goal.  KB however,  has a powerful presence in front of the lens and skillfully uses his entire body, his beautiful face and emotive yes to entice, then capture and keep the viewers attention.

Next two images from Eric Rox Photography

The first images of KB that I saw were images he had submitted in the Model Mayhem pic of the day contest.   The images were strikingly dramatic, and although they images were full nudes, the focus was on more than  KB's incredible physique.  What stood out to me was KB's attitude, specifically, the strength and confidence that came through in his stance and proudly faced the camera.

I immediately got in touch and was pleased that KB was on board for a piece on the site.  I was hoping to include a few of those first  nudes that I saw, but wasn't sure what he'd think. KB is from Hong Kong, and I've had several models from Hong Kong that have been reluctant to have full nudes published due to the how nudity is culturally perceived.  KB is fully aware of the perception, but in addition to his love of being naked, KB has also traveled extensively and experienced the difference in how nudity is perceived, especially during his time in Europe and The States.

What or who brought you to modeling?
Simple start - I was asked by a photographer friend. From my first experience of modeling, I started loving it. I do modeling, apart from challenging myself, also because I can capture my youth and body growth in time.

What has been your favorite experience modeling thus far?
I actually love most of the experiences. I think for some more memorable ones are those shooting outdoors, as it’s really difficult to get naked outdoor. Usually the outcomes from outdoor shooting are very natural photos, beautifully showing the body.

Any odd or strange stories from any shoots?
I think the most odd one was the photographer was still struggling with using the camera. It showed me that he was not professional and even not qualified and skillful enough to do the shooting. I also had a photographer asking me to stay over, when it was the first time we met each other.

What factors did you weigh before deciding to shoot nudes?
I usually will take a look at the photographer’s portfolio. If I really like it, I don’t mind shooting nudes. It will be even nicer if there have been a number of nude models collaborated with the photographer before. I also value mutual understanding and more conversations before the first shooting. This will let us understand each other more.

My first nude shoot was actually my first time doing modeling, with my photographer friend. I completely trusted him. I think trust is really important for all shooting.

On a scale from 1-10 how nervous were?
Perhaps a 5. To be honest I was not very nervous in a sense that I did build trust with the photographer before the shooting. The only worries were like concerning whether my body looked good to the photographer or in the camera, or maybe a bit nervous that if I would get an erection during the shooting. But actually I shouldn’t have worries that much. The shooting turned out quite well.

Next three images from macpics

Did the response from friends/family/ enter into your decision?
I think a little bit. Actually I don’t mind other people seeing me naked, but not those close friends or my family haha. I prefer receiving feed back from those who are not so familiar with.

Had you ever been naked in public before modeling?
Haha yes. I went to a nude beach in Miami a year before. I love it. Walking and hanging around completely free. Met a few friends and had really great conversation with each other when we were naked. This is something that not legally allowed in Hong Kong - pretty sad.

What are your boundaries for a shoot?
Why should we set a boundaries for ourselves? I’d like to try different concepts and ideas. I want to push myself and jump out of my comfort zone. Usually before shooting I’ll communicate and discuss with the photographer. I’ll ask them what styles/themes do they think will be suitable for me. Then we can decide the direction of the shooting. So far I dun think I’ve said “no” to a particular concept if the photographer thinks I’m suitable and can handle it well.

There are stereotypes about specific cultures and countries when it comes to nudity, was this something that factored into your work?

Sadly yes. I think nudity is still somewhat a taboo, especially in Hong Kong and some other Asian countries. I travel to different countries by time to time. I’m always inspired by how open the western countries can be. For example, there are a number of nude events (like nude yoga and painting classes) in the U.S., and it’s legal to be naked in some of the European countries. I really hope that one day my home can be more open and we can be naked freely in at least some places.

What's the best compliment you received?
Saying my nudes are sexy, and reassure that if I’m going to publish a naked album there will be a lot of supporters. Of course, I doubt it.. haha.

Is there a photographer you would really love to be shot by?
Too many...I personally love artistic style and shooting in the nature. Some photographers I’d love to work with, for example, Norm Yip, Brenton Perry, Vincent Six, Apollo Art Photography...too many really. But perhaps I’m not an ideal model to some of them. I’d work harder to improve!

What part of your body are you most happy with? What part gets the most attention from others?
I don’t think I have a particular part I’m most happy with, but perhaps the overall average sized body, though I’d prefer a little bit more hunky.  Most attention - not quite sure. Perhaps my smooth skin? Butt? What do you think?

Last four three from Ys Photography

What is easier or more enjoyable to showcase, your body, or your personality?
In the end, it’s more important through the images people will see my personality. It’s always easy to show my body, just have to get naked and show to the camera. However, how you pose and show your mood/expression accounts more to show my inner self. It’s still a learning process.

Do you have a dream scenario for a shoot you'd love to do?
Outdoor nudes with beautiful scenery,  mountains, valleys, and the sea. Also, perhaps dual shooting with female models, as I haven’t tried before.

What made you decide to start an ONLYFANS page?
As said, I’ve tried different styles of shooting. Some theme are prohibited on MM, that’s why I created ONLYFANS so to have a platform to share more of these works or even some daily selfies.

What has the experience been like?
I’m just starting and have gone through a little bit ups and downs. In fact, I was trying to keep my profile low. But then I found it hard to maintain the page with very few people supporting. Now I’m still thinking what is the right use and direction of the page. Happy to get feed back from you guys!

What can people who join expect from the page?
Nudity is the basic, but there is more than that:)

Anthony Timiraos: expose LOVE

$

0

'Sometimes, a model will ask to be photographed with their spouse, or boyfriend and often asked to match them up with another model. That naturally led to an archive of intimate couples photographs which has grown over 4 years into a collection I have compiled in this new book expose love.'

Over the last four years, photographer Anthony Timiraos has photographed over 100 men in classical nude poses. Over the last two years, I've had the privilege of featuring many of those men, and many of Anthony's shoots on FH. Anthony showcaed many of those 100 men in his books, expose, and expose More. In the third volume of his expose series, Anthony turns his focus to couples and exposeLove.

I had the opportunity to tease a bit of a preview of exposeLove when I featured Anthony's work with David and Rixio last year. (Pareja Caliente) After enjoying Anthony's work for awhile now, and seeing his work with David and Rixio, I was prepared to enjoy close to 150 images of hot bodies and hot couples. I wasn't quite as prepared for the emotional punch the images produced.

I think it was Anthony's powerful words at the beginning of the compilation. They brought a historical perspective to the work that stuck with me long after closing the book's last page. I began FH at time when enjoying the male form was 'relatively' acceptable. If not completely acceptable, the Internet made it as least relatively easy. It's easy to take for grated that the ability to see incredible images of nude men wasn't always as simple, or as safe.

'I aimed for scenes that showed the love and passion between two men, free to express their emotions, relationship and their bodies. Just a few short years ago two men holding hands in public was not acceptable in many communities. Around the time of the Stonewall riots in 1969, this book would most likely be considered pornography and if I was able to find a commercial printer, it would only be available fully wrapped behind a counter so as not to be exposed to the general public.'

'Today, a book about love and affection between men in classical nude poses is more easily available but still restricted in many places. I am hopeful that while you are viewing my collection, you will feel the affection expressed by the models and understand the importance of equality by reading the selected famous quotes I have included. We should be grateful for the years of LGBTQ+ advocacy, education and litigation after the Stonewall riots.'

'We are closer together with less fear of retribution, but that does not mean we have reached full equality and not vulnerable to advances going backwards. There are still many struggling with censorship and acceptance at home, in a nearby neighborhood, city, state or country. Progress has been made over the years but these successes should not make us feel overly confident of the future. Never forget our history, don’t be afraid to remind new generations of our struggles and always encourage others to get involved in their civil rights. Be proud.'

Who I Felt I Am: Pup Dahlia by MW Photo MD

'I wanted to do something anyone could look at and see something sexy and beautiful with emotional depth. Something that says “This is the body I have, I love it”. Something that is authentic, erotic, and complex. Something that gives permission to people who don’t fit society’s beauty expectations to love themselves.'

Whatever qualities that you choose to measure beauty and sex appeal, model Pup Dahlia most definitely possesses. Beautiful face and smile, incredible eyes and a body that he not only owns and loves, but also controls.  So many people, models included, allow their bodies take the lead.  This often impacts their choices, limiting the creative boundaries explored.

The 22 year old Washington model not only embraces and loves what he has, he knows how to transfer this love to the viewer through his work in front of the camera.  Pup's confidence is contagious and he exudes a couscous sexual energy that's impossible to ignore.  Pup's smile and eyes, and the sexy curves he creates through pose, radiate an elegant conviction that speaks to the emotional boldness he brings to his work.  It was precisely these qualities that MW Photo MD's Mark sought to capture through their work together.

'I found Pup on Model Mayhem and his comment on "Body Positive, and Confident" really struck a feeling in me. As I want to show a diverse range of models I really loved what I saw from his postings and reached out to him for an initial hour shoot to see if we would hit it off.'

After Mark reached out, Pup checked out his portfolio and knew they'd have great chemistry together. Pup shares that the shoot he and Mark did was brief, but productive and fun. Mark really enjoyed the experience as well and is eagerly awaiting a second shoot later this month with more time in the studio to play around with different ideas and themes.

'Boudoir is meant to have strong sexual energy but there’s always a great deal of artifice involved as a means to sell a kind of fantasy. But I always find myself wondering, where are the shots that represent reality? Shots that represent real people?'

'The thing I enjoyed most about this shoot was the authenticity. I’ve always enjoyed doing boudoir shoots, but I never left feeling like the shots really captured who I felt I am.'

After spending time enjoying his images, my curiosity moved to Pup Dahlia's name.  The dog mask above aside, I could think of possible and obvious reasons to choose Pup.  Young, excitable and eager. Full of energy and curiosity.  Not to mention more than a  hint of mischievousness.  Pups also love to get out and play, to be loved and cuddled.  Dahlia, I wasn't so sure of....

'I think the name “Dahlia” probably stemmed from my love of flowers and gardening. I wanted to give myself a name that represented the way I see myself and want to be seen. In art, dahlias represent elegance, inner strength, and creativity. I took the name of a flower to break away from gender roles and define myself by the qualities I wish to emulate.'

Favorite Hunk of the New TV Season: Mike Colter

I have always enjoyed the work of  Michelle and Robert King and am loving their newest creation, Evil.   The creators and writers The Good Wife, and The Good Fight switch from the laws of good and the forces in evil in their new CBS drama.  One Evil's leads is the ultra hot and talented Mike Colter.

I was first introduced to Mike in the short lived Sarah Michelle Gellar series Ringer.  I also followed Mike to during his time on The Following, and his turn as Lemond Bishop on The Good Wife.  Despite playing a drug lord with questionable morals, Colter was incredibly sexy, and incredibly  charismatic as Bishop.

I've missed out on arguably the South Carolina's actors role as Luke Cage.  Colter has played the man with super strength and unbreakable skin on three different series; Marvel's Luke Cage, The Defenders and Jessica Jones.   I am however loving him on Evil.

The entire cast is top notch and the revolving stories compelling The show is legitimately scary, not due to violence and fake blood but due to the great writing and characters presented.  The evil in Evil is more internal than external, and much harder to shake.
