Blast From The Past: Robert Torti

The tight wearing dancer from Murder She Wrote was played by actor Robert Torti, maybe known to most from his time on the soap Generations.  During his time on the show, (1989-1991) he and actress Kelly Rutherford were one of the shows most popular couples.   I've never seen even a minute of Generations, but when searching for Robert, it was clear that the couple is still beloved by fans of the cancelled soap.

Even though I didn't watch the soap, I think it was Generations that first introduced me to Torti.  When I was searching for images for this piece, I recognized many of his promotional shots from the soap from magazines that I'd seen when I was younger.  Given how popular he and Kelly seemed to be, they were on the cover, and in many soap themed magazines from the late 80's and early 90's.

Vinnie & Bobby (1992)

Torti got his start in the business in the early 1980's appearing on shows including; Quincy, Throb, Family Ties and Little House on the Prairie.  His first role in film was the 1984 erotic action film Alley Cat.  Although there was plenty of nudity in Alley Cat, unfortunately it was mostly the female cast members.  We did however, get some great shirtless of shots of Torti, which you can check out below.

Starlight Express

Torti made his Broadway debut in 1987, co-starring alongside actress Jane Krakowski, (above) in the original cast of Andrew Llyod Webber's roller-skating musical, Starlight Express.  Tori also appeared as the Pharaoh along side Michael Damien in the Broadway production of Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat.  Torti went on to co-star alongside Donny Osmond, (below) in a touring production of the show and the version that filmed for video release.

Those stage credits might have helped prepare Tori for his tight wearing role on Murder She Wrote.  In the late 80's and throughout the 90's, Torit continued to appear on television with roles on shows including;  The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Beverly Hills 90120, Melrose Place and Quantum Leap.  Torti also co-starred with Matt Leblanc in the short-lived 1992 sit-com Vinnie & Bobby. This was Leblanc's last failed show prior to getting the role of Joey on Friends.

Reefer Madness (2005)

Torti continued to work steadily into the 2000's with roles on; Sabrina The Teenage Witch, V.I.P,Criminal Minds and in the films, Race to Witch Mountain, She's All That. and the musical, Reefer Madness.   Torti's on screen roles seemed to have slowed a little in the late 2010's with is last appearances being roles in two short films in 2021.

Some shots from Torit's time as a soap stud

I have to thank Jessica Fletcher for not only solving another mystery, but for again re-introducing me to a face and a hottie from my past.

Generations

I found the blurry cap on-line from Generations on-line.  I did a search on Youtube, and although there were scenes from the soap featuring Torti, I sadly couldn't find the scene with Torti in his briefs.  If anyone knows if it's out there, let me know!

Calmly Concupiscent: Malyk by Lights On Studio

'This session was done before I realized you had a pathologic obsession with butts or I would have done more butt shots.'

I wouldn't necessarily call my love butt shots 'pathological', but I'll let it go.  I don't hold a grudge, and I have been a little... let's say 'relentless when working on pieces for the site with photographer Tom Nakielski. (Lights On Studio)  Because Tom created and captured so many incredible holiday shoots for FH, I admit to ending more than a few e-mails requesting, (pleading) for more butt shots.

When you have a model as hot as Malyk, it's really hard to blame me for asking.  Malyk is just one of those models who looks incredible from whatever side and angle he's being photographed at. I was introduced to Malyk's work the same way that Tom was, through the work of photographer Phil Rugel from PR Photo.  I first featured a tease of their work together in a seasonal sightings post back in 2017. (HERE) I followed that up with a full post featuring Malyk's work with Phil the following year. (HERE:)

I loved everything about Malyk' work, from his strong, handsome face to his incredible body.  I think I especially loved how nonchalant he appeared posing fully naked in front of relative strangers.  It wasn't that I though Maylk's didn't care about modeling or the work, it was more that I felt he just knew...

Malyk seemed keenly aware of how his physical appearances impacted others, and went with the flow. There wasn't anything 'put on' or forced,  just a natural sensuality that he exuded in front of the camera that seemed organic.  Since I began bugging Tom about digging into his archives, Maylk's been on my list to revisit.  I've featured Tom's work with Malyk several times before, but knew there were several other themes and locations that the shot, that I still wanted to share.

How did you first come to notice Malyk?
I first became aware of Malyk through photographer Phil Rugel from Kalamazoo, MI. Phil is also a music composer and conductor. He contacted me to introduce me to model Malyk. He thought I might like the opportunity to photograph Malyk and also expressed that he would like the opportunity to observe me at work.

Was it easy to schedule a shoot?
Phil arranged the session. Malyk does not have a car so Phil brought him.

What about Malyk's look had you wanting to work with him
I liked that he was in very good shape. Also his ethnic look was a plus . He is of American/Trinidad descent.  The fact that he is well endowed was also not ignored by me.

How many times did you shoot?
We had one long session. It was done in two separate locations. The first part was in a friend's house that had a lot of African décor. Hence me taking the session into a kind of African theme. Then we continued to the studio that was a bit more pin-up style. There, I did manage to get a few butt shots for your pleasure :)

Was Malyk talkative, or focused on the work?
Malyk was not very talkative He he quite at ease in the posing though. (I think I may have gotten him to do an erection shot if I weren't too shy to suggest it).

Tell me about the process?
I was really enjoying the session and lost track of time. After about 4 hours, Malyk did hint that he was ready to call it a wrap. I could have gone on for a couple of more hours. I did manage to cram a lot of useable images in that time. He was very cooperative and went along with my suggestions. He was great at trying to follow my lead, and looked to me for direction, especially with pose.

'There are three things you can never get enough of in life, Lieutenant. Chocolate, friends, and the theater.'
Jessica Fletcher

Last summer, I wrote about finding repeats of Murder She Wrote on one of my new retro channels. (Death Toll)  I'd seen a handful of episodes when I was a kid, my mom liked to watch it, but missed most of the shows run.  I added it to my TiVo and started trying to catch up.   I quickly gave up, but not before posting about several of the hunks who interacted with Jessica Fletcher over the years.

I stopped watching regularly, and deleted it from TiVo when there was, what seemed like, endless episodes with Angela Lansbury.  I also hated most of the trips 'abroad', loving the episodes set in Cabot Cove the best.   I did however, catch an episode last week, mostly due to a catching a particular hottie in tights.

The episode, Danse Diabolique is the eleventh episode from the shows eighth season.  The story finds Jessica unravelling death of a ballerina after she dances a ballet that has killed everyone who has tried it.  The guest stars who I was somewhat familiar with were; Marisa Berenson, Stephen Nichols and Daniel Pilon.  Then of course, there was that man in tights.

I instantly recognized the face, (and the mullet) but couldn't really figure out how I knew him until heading to the IMDB.  I'm sure of some of you easily guessed the hottie in question, but it was a mystery to me.  When I found out who he was, I was a little surprised.  I'm not sure I've ever actually seen much, or any, of his work, but I did know the face.

I recognized actor Robert Torti from images in the many TV and celebrity magazines I used to collect.  When I was a kid, I was often dragged to flea markets on Sunday after church.  The one saving grace was that my mother would give me a couple of dollars to keep me quiet.  I always bought old celebrity  magazines.  Torti's character Damien Bolo was in tights for almost all of his scenes, and had me wanting to see, and find out more.  Check out more of Robert Torti on the NEXT PAGE HERE:

A Look Back: Tom Nolan in School Spirit

'A college student gets into a car crash and becomes a special kind of ghost who can make himself invisible or corporeal at will. He takes advantage of his powers to pursue his fellow female students, during the infamous 'Hog Day'.'

During the 1990's and 2000's, actor Tom Nolan was seen more of a character actor, but that wasn't the case at the beginning of his career.  Nolan began acting professionally in the late 1970's, and even if you aren't familiar with his name, I'm guessing most of you  have seen at least a few of the films he appeared in.

Nolan was a fixture in films in the 1980's, working with some of Hollywood's biggest stars with appearances in movies including: Yanks, Fast Times At Ridgemont High, Up The Creek, Tequila Sunrise and The Falcon and the Snowman.  Nolan also had numerous television appearances including co-staring alongside Elizabeth Taylor in the 1989 television adaptation of Sweet Bird of Youth.

Many of you also might have seen Tom, under a blond wig, co-starring with Pia Zadora and Craig Sheffer in the 1984 musical comedy, Voyage of the Rock Aliens.  Nolan's last acting role was in 2000, after regular appearances on the television shows Out of this World and Harry and the Hendersons

I love an embarrassment scene, and although he doesn't show much, when I recently saw an image of Nolan in the 1985 comedy, School Spirit, I had to see more.  We only a get a few quick peaks of Tom's tuchus as he runs around in a hospital gown, but given it's the actor's only nude scene, (that I could find) I thought it was worth a closer look.

I love finding comedies from the 80's with a little male nudity and Nolan especially hot in School Spirit. You can download the video on SENDSPACE HERE

The Showroom Model: Austin by Alan Rust

'Austin is Hollywood handsome and also such a really nice man.'

If you know anything about sells, you know how much time and thought is put into the visuals.  The items in catalogs, in store windows, and the front of the store are often the ones most visually striking and eye-catching.  Retailers want to grab your attention, and encourage you stay, look and want to see more.

This is especially true when it comes to car sales.  Most cars on display in showrooms are meticulously taken care of, shined daily and always looking their best.  It makes sense then, that dealerships also love finding salespeople who are captivating as the products their selling.  Of course that's not always the case, being knowledgeable and trustworthy also helps.  Studies however have also found, that attractive salespeople are often the most successful.

It's not a surprise then, that photographer Alan Rust spotted something visually stunning when he entered a showroom in a car dealership in Omaha Nebraska.  Well, maybe not a something, but a someone, the good looking salesman who was helping him out.  I introduced FH readers to Alan's work last month, (HERE:) and as an artist with an eye for beauty, he of course had to ask Austin if he'd be interested in modeling and doing a photo shoot.

Having never modeled before, Austin didn't answer right away, but promised to think about it and consider Alan's offer.  They continued to keep in contact, and Alan continued to ask.  Austin eventually made the move out West, and it was then, that he decided he was up for a shoot.

'Austin is Hollywood handsome and also such a really nice man. I was able to see right away that he was a natural at modeling.'

Given's Alan's focus on fashion and style, you can see how perfectly he paired fashion with form.  I especially love how Austin looks in the blue striped shorts Alan chose, beautifully spotlighting Austin's amazing physique. Given how devoted Austin was to health and fitness, Alan also incorporated fitness focused images during the shoot.  Austin did so well modeling for Alan, he set up a second shoot the following day with a great photographer in Lincoln.  Alan joined in for that project as well and shares Austin did equally well in both shoots.

Alan has kept in contact with Austin, but unfortunately hasn't set up another shot.  Austin's focus on fitness shifted more towards bodybuilding, putting modeling on the back burner.  Austin shares that he enjoyed his brief time as a fashion and fitness model though, and loves having the images they created, As a bodybuilder, he also loves having the visual testament of that point in his fitness journey.

Kudos to Paul Telfer

I wasn't expecting much when Playgirl announced it was shooting some of the hotties from Days Of Our Lives.  The magazine has a history of shoots with soap stars, and very few showed much beyond what they do regularly on their shows.  All of the actors featured in the recent issue have shown skin on Days, and for me, the only point of the Playgirl shoot, was to show a wee bit more.

I wasn't expecting any full frontals, but I was thinking there might be some butt shots or implied nudity.  Although Christopher Sean looks hot in his short shorts, the only actor who gave us a little 'sumthin' sumthin' was actor Paul Telfer  Telfer's character Xander is known for his frequent shirtless scenes, and he's the only actor from the show who stripped down to briefs, with some implied nudity and a hint of butt crack.

It's not surprising, Telfer embraces his characters lack of clothing on social media, often joking about Xander's inability to find his shirts.  He's also done some nude modeling in the past, (first image) and had a butt scene in the television show Mile High. (HERE:) His character also had a frontal, but I'm confident that was body double or prosthetic.  For this Playgirl layout, as hot as all of the actors look, the kudos go to Mr. Telfer.

'Peerless Jamie Vanek can send chills up your spine--and other places...'

Jamie Vanek

Photography by
Maxine Elliot Marten

Imagine pulling into a gas station and beholding this 6'2" hunk of a man as he approaches.  When he's reached your car, he leans over (so close his musky, masculine scent makes your spine tingle) to ask what he can do for you.  You might get so excited thinking about what you'd really like to tell him to do--and how to do it- that you might forget why you actually went there in the first place.

We were lucky enough to happen upon gorgeous Jamie Vanek while he was working as a part-time pump jockey in an Iowa farming town.  It didn't take long to notice his superb  physique and thick brown hair, but the second he got close enough for us to get a gander at his striking blue eyes, we were hooked.

Jamie's real job is as a farmhand.  His duties run the gamut-from operating complicated field machinery to feeding the animals.  When we asked Jamie if goes to the gym or runs to keep in shape, he gave us a low, seductive chuckle and said, 'Darling, this job is so physically demanding that I don't need to.  I didn't get this body by joining some fancy gym.  It's all from just plain hard work.

'We just might stroll out to one of the local fields and take one of those rolls in the hay that we country guys are so familiar with.  It can get kinda dirty and sweaty, but if the sex is good enough, it's no big deal getting cleaned up later on....come to think of it, that can be fun too!'

Dave Foley in Postal

I was a little to watch Kids In The Hall when it originally aired, but one of my older brother's used to love it.  I remember he ordered some of the shows on VSH from Columbia House and used to watch them with his friends.  He was pretty homophobic when he was younger.  He used the word 'fag' liberally, often directed towards me.  It struck me that he enjoyed a show with the openly gay Scott Thompson in the cast.

For some reason that stuck with me, and taught me the power of humor.  When you make others laugh, they don't focus so much on other pieces of your personality.  I wasn't naturally funny, but when I was growing up, I actively worked to make others laugh to deflect them looking too closely at other parts of my life.

Fargo (2023)

When I got a little bit older, I snuck in my brothers room and borrowed those videos.  I wasn't allowed to touch his things, so had to do it when he was out.  I didn't really 'get' all of the humor in the show, but I grew to appreciate the talented cast and the boundaries they pushed.  A few years ago, after finally discovering the brilliance of the sit-com Superstore, I did a post on the male cast members.

I ended up of course, looking for nude scenes from the cast.  I ended up finding a butt scene from actor Mark McKinney, (HERE:) from his time on Kids In The Hall.   I then ended up looking for more, and found there was one other featuring actor Bruce McCulloch. (HERE:)

Newsradio

I didn't find any featuring actor Dave Foley, not until recently when he and Kevin McDonald appeared nude in a sketch from the re-boot.  I was a little shocked as I never thought I'd see cute Dave Foley fully nude, and had no idea he had previously done several nude scenes in movies.

Kids In The Hall (2022)

Foley had a butt scene in 2001's Monkeybone, and full frontals in 2007's Postal and 2008's Cooper's Christmas.  Foley actually shows quite a bit iN Cooper's Christmas, but the scenes are not that clear as they all occur on video as a video camera is a big part of the films plot. I decided to feature his nude scene from Postal which is much clearer and easier to cap.

'So you saw Randall strip on the livestream😳, but did you ever see the stage magic he made at Kate's bachelorette party in Vegas??...'😂🤯
Sterling K Brown

As much as I hate missing things, I also love discovering hot scenes of male skin that I've overlooked.  I started watching the series This Is Us when it first premiered.  Like so many, I'd heard the buzz, and got hooked instantly after seeing the impressive pilot.  For some reason however, half-way through the first season, I lost interest.  I loved the actors, especially Milo Ventimiglia and Sterling K Brown, but something about the story direction didn't keep me watching.

I wasn't watching then, when Kate got married, and the scenes involving her shower before the wedding.  I wish I had been though, then I might not have missed this behind the scenes video of Brown being undressed by some of the hot male extra's during the filming.

I only just noticed that Brown posted the video on his Twitter. (HERE:)  There's something incredibly hot about seeing Brown being assisted with removing his shirt on stage.  He looks amazing, as good or better than all of the extra's, who I'm assuming were dancers or strippers int he shower scene.

The Daily Grind: Alin by Frank Joseph

'The seeds of greatness are planted in the daily grind.'
Adam Grant

Some FH readers might remember about the origins of the site.  I'd moved to a small town in a rural community to start a new job.  I didn't really know many people, and there was almost nothing to do in the area that I lived.   My job was also stressful, working with people who were struggling, in pain, and at their peak of vulnerability.

I was used living in a city, and getting used to the sites and smells of a farming community took a little getting used to.  My life began revolving around work and then well... nothing.  I craved an outlet for my creativity and artistic impulses.  I eventually made some very good friends, began going out more, started running, got a dog, then another, but it took awhile build a life in my strange new world.

My first step in building that new life was breaking up the daily grind of work and my repetitive routine.  So many creatives begin their journey becoming weekend artists.  They make their living with a job through the week, then use their evenings and weekends to explore their creative passions.  Working on FH allowed me not only to write and create, but research and connect with artists, models and photographers.  For a short period of time each day, I was transported to a world of art, of beauty, and of incredibly hot men.

I think many viewers of the site drop in for a bit of a virtual vacation from their own daily grind.  Life is stressful, and whether you spend just a few minutes, or a few hours a week, we all need a break.  It's especially satisfying, when that break also includes stunning visuals, ones that are implanted, that can sustain and stimulate long after they were first seen.

Some of my favorite photographers, battle that daily grind, by taking control of it visually, and blending it into their work.  No elaborate backgrounds or complicated set-ups.  No reliance on fashion, or bursts of color.  Instead, they take the routine things we all do each day, often without much thought, and affix their own erotic imprint.  Through their skill, their imagination, (and sometimes a hunky Romanian model) these mundane tasks suddenly have an additional sensual and erotic foundation.

One of my favorite chroniclers of the daily grind is photographer Frank Joseph.  Whether he's shooting a model waking up, dressing or undressing, showering, drying off or just pulling open the curtains in the morning, each ordinary task, becomes extraordinarily erotic.  Of course it helps when Frank is shooting a model as captivating as Alin.

'I met Alin first in Bucharest. He had a playful presence in front of the camera and we became long distance friends. A few summers later, when I was in Amsterdam for summer, I invited him to come. He had the same lean physique and full round butt.  He doesn’t maintain social media, so I’ve lost touch with him, unfortunately, but I really enjoyed our time together.'

Given Frank's appreciation for the architecture of the ass, it was advantageous, that the riveting Romanian knew the perfect poses to accentuate his assets.   In addition to his stunning lines and sensual curves, Alin also has a great face and I love the shots Frank captured with Alin's beautiful smile.

If you want to take a few moments from your own daily ground, you can check out much more of Frank's work with Alin on his site HERE:  You can also join Frank's group Daily Grind on his site HERE:  It's free to join, and Frank sends a variety of hot shots out each week to brighten your day with a juicy jolt of the male form.
