Anthony Triolo: The Simple Gifts

'The idea behind this year’s theme is Simple Gifts, because in the end, the greatest blessings of all are the ones that don't cost a thing'
Michelle Obama, 2010

With the current nightmare that the White House has become, singer, actor and model Anthony Triolowent back to a simpler time with his Christmas song, The Simple Gifts. Inspired by three of First Lady Michelle Obama's Christmas themes, including 2010's The Simple Gifts,  Anthony hopes the song is a refreshing reminder of better times.

To help celebrate the season, and to parallel the simple theme of his song, Anthony wanted to take a few casual holiday images.. Photographer Elia Athans took a few shots of Anthony just hanging around the house at Christmas, comfortable in sweats and without a shirt of course.

Every Christmas season, as I'm scrolling through Instagram, I keep my eye out for the hottest of holiday photos.  So many artists I follow bring a little Christmas into their art, and so many of the models I follow seem to love decking their halls and hanging their ornaments completely naked.

Each year, I put together some of my favorites, most, are models and artists I featured before, some, I hope to share more of on FH in the upcoming year.  Despite the limits of what you can post on Instagram, most have found creative ways to still share some incredibly hot shots.  Here some of my favorite festive follows for this year.

One man, three women, and a very long rope...

A recent shot of a still stunning Zach

With Molly Ringwald in Surviving (1985)

Although sadly, or not so sadly, actor Zach Galligan didn't go the Martin Hewitt route into Shannon Tweedish soft core straight to video softcore flicks.  He did however make this 1993 film that although light on nudity, was heavy on hotness with the bondage scenes.  Galligan briefly shows his butt to celebrate after finally being free, but the scenes with him tied up are much more erotic.

All Tied Up (1993)

Linda's boyfriend Brian loves checking out other women, so her best friends Kim and Sharon convince her that the three of them kidnap him and torture him until he learns his lesson.

St. Nicholas Day: Mark Henderson by YogaBear Studio

Bells are ringin', children singin', all is merry and bright
So jump in bed, and cover your head, 'cause Santa Claus comes tonight

Over the last decade plus, FH has featured many Sexy Santa's. But this version of the jolly St. Nick is relatively modern, stemming from the 1820 poem, 'An Account of a Visit from St. Nicholas' by Clement Clarke Moore. With a little help from cartoonist Thomas Nast, and Coca Cola's depiction of Santa in the 1930's and we have the version most of us accept as Santa today.

Most models can put on the red hat and play Santa, but not all have the chops to pull off Saint Nicholas. The original Saint Nicholas didn't wear red, that came later. The original was a Christian bishop from Patara. (a land that is now is part of present day Turkey) The Bishop was known for providing food and clothing to the sick and poor. Stories of his miracles and work for the poor spread to other parts of the world, including America in the 1700's, providing the basis for the now popular character of Santa Clause.

I love all my sexy Santa's, but had been looking for a Saint Nicholas when I recently saw David from YogaBear Studio's recent work with model and actor Mark Henderson. These shots were taken during David's recent trip to Toronto. David and Mark captured the essence of the St. Nick, plus a great nod to the present with the gift giver checking his cell phone to ensure his bottom hits down on just right chimney.

'This beautiful spirit David Gray flew from one end of our continent to almost the other to stay with me for 3 days and shoot me non stop. One cannot imagine how humbling and flattered I felt, all at once. He is grace and serenity. He directs me in precise small motions that later I see how he was 10 steps ahead of me.'

'He's loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh.'

It was this time last year I first featured the Christmas imagery of photographer JW Johnson. (Unwrapped) If you've checked out my features on JW's work the past 12 months you know that JW shoots far more than just Christmas themed images. Given it was however, an image of a naked male model falling out of Santa's sack, JW's holiday images will always remain favorites.

The Missouri photographer didn't initially plan on Christmas Tree's, presents and poinsettia's to be a big part of his work, but given shooting calendars and greeting cards became a big part of his photography work, a decked out Christmassy December backdrop was required. Soon, JW began having many of his models, even those not posing for the calendar's, pose beside or under the Christmas tree creating a huge archive of great holiday shots he's graciously shared with FH.

Cookies & Cream: George by Lights on Studio

Twas the night before Christmas...

Although the 25th gets so much of the attention, for me, the most magical time of the holiday is Christmas Eve. The evening time between sunset and midnight when the shopping, decorating preparing is over. I can't really explain it, but I think most of you know what I mean. There is something in the air, an anticipation maybe, a stillness, a memory of all those sleepless nights awaiting Santa's arrival when we were kids.

When I was kid, Christmas Eve was usually just the immediate family, Chinese food, A Miracle on 34th viewing, opening just one gift, then leaving out cookies and mild for Santa before bed. Now that I'm older, the traditions have had to change. I usually end up working Christmas Eve, so after the hour and a half drive, I've usually missed the Chinese.

The family is now scattered, so Christmas is celebrated multiple times over the week whenever a sibling, aunt, uncle, niece or nephew is able to visit. On Christmas Eve however, no matter who is there, or what is going on,  my father still insists on one tradition, leaving out that glass of milk and a plate with three cookies.

Christmas traditions have also become important on FH.  I have been both fortunate and appreciative to to be able to feature the work of Lights On Studio's Tom Nakielskieach December 25th over the last four years.  FH viewers know how much I love holiday themed imagery, but I also especially thrilled when I am able to feature original holiday visuals created for viewers of the site.

Not all models initially jump at the chance to pose in a Santa cape and hat or sit naked on atop a huge Christmas present.  This year however, we are lucky that Tom discoveredGeorge Chammas on Facebook. The athlete and  NPC Men’s Physique Competitor fill out his Santa briefs nicely and clearly burns off any cookies he may be tempted with.

Tom had the idea to re-create some Christmas Eve moments, and rented a Santa cape and PJ's from local costume shop.  Although Tom knew George was well built, was still surprised with how muscular he looked when he first took his shirt off at the shoot.  George admits to being a little nervous at the beginning as this was the first time he'd done a nude photo shoot.  George says it helped that Tom had such a clear vision of he wanted to create, and used his imagination to get into character and the spirit of Christmas Eve.

Despite those initial nerves, Tom says George was great and came through with flying colors.  George was pleased with the results as well and would love to again work with Tom on a future project.   I look forward to what future work they may create, George, in addition to his incredible body, has a great face and sexy smile.  George's beautiful eyes also have just enough twinkle to match the magic that is Christmas Eve.

12 Days: Zach Galligan in Gremlins

Many people argue whether movies like Gremlins and Die Hard are actually Christmas movies.  To me, whether Santa appears or not, if it has a any bit of Christmas in it, and you like to watch it over the holidays, it's a Christmas movie.

I remember the first time our family rented Gremlins at the video store.  I was pretty young to really enjoy it and got about quarter through it before getting scared and heading to my room.  Of course I watched and it enjoyed it years later, taking special notice of the adorable face of actor Zach Galligan.

Zach got his start acting professionally in the 1982 ABC After School Special TV Movie, A Very Delicate Matter. That delicate matter, and the subject of Zach's first on screen appearance was.gonorrhea.   Thankfully the subject matter didn't  stall Zach's career from moving along, and from getting cast in two years later in his first feature film, Gremlins.

In addition to Gremlins 2 in 1990, Galligan continued to work steadily both in film and on Television but none of his projects garnered the young actor the attention he received for the original Gremlins.  Galligan has been busy this past year and has five movies coming out next year, not to mention the rumored Gremlins 3, which Galligan has helping to get made.

Although Galligan appeared in a few straight to video titles with titles that imply there might be a little nudity, (Mortal Passions) it didn't unfortunately occur with Galligan.  Galligan did briefly show his butt in the 1992 flick All Tied Up.  Although only very briefly naked, the bondage scenes were still pretty hot.  Check out some caps on Page 2 HERE:

The Day After by Chris Teel

'Is it strange that I enjoy Boxing Day even more than Christmas Day itself...'

For many parts of the world, the 26th of December is as important as the 25th. Originating in the United Kingdom, Boxing Day was observed as a holiday on which post-men, errand-boys, and servants of various kinds expected to receive a Christmas box from their employers. Boxing Day was celebrated by a number of countries that previously formed the British Empire.

Boxing Day was known as a Second Christmas Day. In Canada, Boxing Day is a federal statutory holiday which meaning that all Government offices, banks and post offices remain closed. In some provinces, stores are also not legally allowed to open until December 27th. This gives Canadians an extra day off and an extra day to enjoy time with family and friends and relax after all the work involved in the lead up to Christmas.

Toronto's Chris Teel took this theme to the next level with his hot to trot Santa and his two frisky little elves. After a night of traveling the globe going from house to house, down chimney after chimney, a guy needs a way to unwind. It's also the only time of a year, Santa can ensure that the giver, can now be on the receiving end.

FH readers know the work of Chris Teelwell, I've had the pleasure of featuring his work close to 40 times on the site. FH readers will also recognize model, actor and model Matt Eldracher, winner of FH's 2011 Model Search Contest.  For this shoot, Matt morphed from twink to hot sugar daddy in order to take control of his two playful elves,Jonny Twofour and ChanceBoth elves are a little wild with energy to spare after finally having a day off from the workshop.

Chris shares that the core of the idea for the shoot came from Matt, inspired by a new burlesque performance he's recently been performing.  Matt wanted to capture the look and feel of burlesque, and with Chris was wanting a Christmas theme, he suggested incorporating the elves.

Chris shares that Santa and his elves all got along well, and were open to all kinds of suggestions... Chris is in the process of adding galleries of each model on his ONLYFANS site, as well as behind the scenes footage from the shoot.  Check out Chris' ONLYFANS site HERE: for sexier content that is not available anywhere else.  There is also behind-the-scenes video footage from his many various shoots.

12 Days: Rock Hudson in All That Heaven Allows

I can't shoot straight anymore.
Ron Kirby

1955's All That Heaven Allows may not exactly be a Christmas movie, but given most of the film occurs through Autumn and Winter, both beautifully captured by Cinematographer Russell Metty, for me, it counts.

I love how unsentimental the film is in so many scenes.  Widow Jane Wyman is leading a lonely life, mostly having lunches with friends and living for the weekends when her two college going children come home. That is until she perks up after a few interactions with Rock Hudson who plays her gardener, who just recently took over the family business.

No one really seems to pay much attention to Jane except Rock, that is until, they start to date.  Everyone in town seems to then take notice, especially her kid,  who can't believe their mother is actually a woman with needs other than welcoming them home from the train each Friday evening.

As I said, the cinematography is beautiful and I was as much in love with the barn Ron (Rock Hudson) was renovating as I was with Ron himself.  I dream of a barn house like that one day soon in my future.  Unlike Ron, I will surround it with goats and cows more than just Christmas tree's, but I would love a deer to come up look into the big picture window as one does in the film.

Since Christmas is just a small part of this film, it makes a great flick to watch anytime over the winter.  Rock and Jane were put back together after the positive reaction to their chemistry the year before in Magnificent Obsession.

I had really only known Jane as the old bat on Falcon Crest, the show my mother watched after Dallas.. She's an interesting actress to watch on screen.  Her bangs aside, Wyman makes interesting choices acting wise, pushing audiences away at times, more than pulling them in as most actress's try to do.  It's oddly compelling at times.  Her character in All That Heaven Allows isn't really all that interesting, at least on paper, yet Wyman remains compelling throughout.

The Naughty List

The Sexualization of Santa's seems to have become a theme this holiday season on FH.  I guess that's understandable.  Although as kids we're led to believe Santa is a jolly and kind character, as we get older, depictions of ole St. Nick lean more towards the naughty than the nice.

With the help of some fun images, and some magazine layouts from the past, check out some of my favorite dirty Santa themed pics on FHHERE:

I posted this images on FH once before, but the shot, by Caitiff photography, remains a favorite holiday shot.  For some reason, this year in particular, it speaks to my current mindset, especially with Christmas, and 2018 winding down to a close.  Not so much'take what you can and run' , that's really not my style.  Maybe closer to 'get what you can, enjoy it, and don't look back.'

I have always been the kind of person to enjoy things more before they occurred than I ever do during, or after....  Christmas included. No resolutions though I promise, I hate them, and it's too early.  Change though is ongoing, and Christmas is as a good a time as ever to contemplate, diligently organize and plan, and then ultimately to quickly forget.  Tonight however, I'm in the contemplating stage.

Fill Your Boots: Justin by JW Johnson

I used to have a boss who answered almost every question asked of him with 'fill your boots.'. I had had never heard the expression before, but quickly learned it mean't...  If I wanted to leave early and the answer wasn't going to be positive, I simply got a no. If the response to my question was 'fill your boots.'  that meant it was ok to go.  He never gave a simple yes, that would mean he was ok with it.  A 'fill your boots' meant 'I don't give a shit, it's on you not me.'

I learned quickly to be nervous about a 'fill your boot' response as it sometimes, came back to haunt me.  If every there was an issue, my boss could say he didn't officially give me the ok, simply said it was up to me.  Fill your boots, not to mention filling your red sack and pouch has now taken on a new and erotically positive connection for me with these shots of Justin from JW Johnson Photo.

It was in part those boots that had me crushing over the adorable Justin when I was choosing shots to include in my Christmas Day post featuring JW's holiday images. (Sugar Plums)  There was something about Justin, and JW shots of him, I really loved.  Justin fills his boots, and, well everything else he's wearing nicely.  Justin has that boy next door look and appeal, that boy next door with the hot body that you hope and pray leaves the blinds open when he's in his room changing...

I was so taken with Justin in his little red ensemble, I had to ask JW if he had other, non-holiday images of the St. Louis hottie and indeed, he did. As you can see, JW shot Justin not only with his Santa sack for his calendars and greeting card series, but as well in his signature fire fighter theme.

JW shares that as sweet as Christmas eye candy Justin may appear, he was equally sweet during their work together.  After finding Justin on-line, JW quickly scheduled a shoot the next avaiable day that Justin had off work.  The first shoot was on the farm and Justin arrived Justin arrived eager and ready and JW reports he was a natural in front of the camera.

Tis The Season?

When it comes to Christmas, I think those who celebrate are divided into two categories. There are those, who consider the holiday to be just one day, and quickly leave it behind once the 26th comes around.  Then there are those, like me, who milks Christmas out until January 1st or 2nd, sucking as much out of the holiday as I possibly can.  I know many FH readers groan around the holidays, aware that not a day, but a week or more of Santa Hats, pumpkins and Easter bunnies are in are store.

Part of this of course comes from my love of most holidays, but in part it's due to how much I so often prefer the before and after more than the main event itself.  This year, like most, I worked up until the early evening on Christmas Eve.  My Christmas happens in waves, a small celebration on the 25th, another on the 26th and my main Christmas this year actually just happened this afternoon when most of my family finally came together. Today was the main day for gift giving, catching up and stuffing myself with far too much stuffing.

Celebrating with different friends and family means I'm still wrapping and preparing even after the 25th has come and gone.  If you're one of those readers who wants the Santa hats shoved back in the box on the 26th, bear (or bare) with me.  The countdown is on and I'll soon be posting my last naked hunk in a Santa hat.  I eventually do put the hat, and the rest of the decorations away in a box, but always a little reluctantly.
