The shot of Jude Law above remains one of my favorites. Not only because of how hot the naked Law looks on stage in 1995's Indiscretions, but because the magazine shot was my introduction to the actor. It was before seeing him in Wilde, The Wisdom of Crocodiles or The Talented Mr. Ripley, it was this image that began lust of Law.

Stroke of Midnight:: Patrick by Lights On Studio
Tonight’s December thirty-first,
Something is about to burst.
The clock is crouching, dark and small,
Like a time bomb in the hall.
Hark, it's midnight, children dear.
Duck! Here comes another year!

When you get right down to it, New Year's Eve is really boils down to about 10 seconds. Those few seconds of anticipation before the clock strikes twelve, and those few seconds, often with a dose of melancholy, just after the stroke of midnight.
I know for some, there are huge and sometimes even magical moments at midnight, some even choose that time to propose, or make big announcements to family and friends. When it comes down to it though, most of our New Year Eve's are more about the anticipation, and those fleeting few seconds at the stroke of midnight
It's those few seconds of magic, of hope and the promise of change that really epitomizes New Years Eve. That moment the champagne is popped, the party horn is blown, the confetti falls. The moment of the kiss, or wondering if there'll be a kiss, and even the regret after the kiss. Those fleeting moments of midnight are the inspiration for Lights On Studio's Tom Nakielskiand his New Year's Eve themed shoot with model Patrick Morgan.
'With New Years as our inspiration, we tried different setups and outfits. A sexy living room kind of setting. Sleeping on the couch after partying hardy. Popping champagne. Working with some oh so gay silver (lame') shorts and fabric. And of course confetti. Both of us had a good time and lots of laughs. Patrick was great in helping me set up the props and moving stuff around and used his creative talents to make each set up successful. A lot of the session was spontaneous.'
Patrick contacted Tom after checking out his portfolio on ModelMayhem. The Michigan model was getting back into the modeling circuit after taking a bit of time off. The timing turned out to be perfect for Tom who was looking for someone to collaborate with for a New Years celebration themed photo session.
Tom and Patrick got together at Tom's home office to discuss working together and by the end of their meeting, Tom was confident that Patrick would be a great addition to his portfolio. Not only was Patrick great looking and in great shape, he was also very engaging with an effervescent personality, perfect for the planned theme of celebrating New Years Eve! 'The photo session was a great time for me. The images on the couch were all fun and relaxing, and the champagne shots were exciting to say the least! The standing poses were my favorites to take, especially when I felt like I really was a Greek statue.'

Year in, Year out
Happy New Year to all those who spend a few moments each day, or each week, dropping into FH! A big thank you to all those who visit, and all those who contributed their talent and time to share with myself and the site! I wish for all of you, a year of laughter between the trials, positive moments mixed in with the tough ones, and new experiences to balance out the things we must do each and every day. A big hello to 2019, a year I hope a little kinder and gentler than the year which preceded it.

12 Days: Cameron Bancroft in A Midnight Kiss
How did I miss actor Cameron Bancroft transformation into an incredibly hot daddy! When I began FH, Bancroft had just turned 40, and I still thought of the him as a teen idol from his days on Beverly Hills 90210 and his appearances in 90's movies like Sleeping Together and Love & Human Remains. Of course the busy Canadian actor has be working steadily on TV and in film since the 90's, but last week was the fist time I'd seen him on screen in a while.
Usually my 12 Days feature ends on New Years, but with the success of their Holiday movies, Hallmark is expanding, adding not only a series of Hanukkah movies, but New Year movies and a a Winter themed series of films running throughout January and February. With Hallmark presenting new films, and hot hunks in the cast for me to check out, I'll have to expand the series though out the winter. I'll have to find a new name though, as I chose 12 Days to connect with the 12 Days of Christmas.
I caught of a few minutes of Cameron in the New Year's flick A Midnight Kiss last week, and although I didn't see the entire film (I have since DVR'd) it, I saw enough to want to see more of Cameron. Cameron was playing the hot daddy of the female lead and although there were a few younger male hotties in the cast, Cameron was the only one that got my attention.
It took me a few minutes to connect it was actually him. I recognized that handsome face, that jaw and sexy smile right away. The sexy grey hair however, threw me for a second. I had to get on IMDB to find out who this hottie I recognized actually was. Although I crushed over the younger Bancroft, the 51 year old Bancroft, is so much hotter.
Code Name: Eternity (1999)
Bancroft was 'naked' throughout most of the first of the first 15 minutes of the pilot to the 1999 TV series Code Name: Eternity. When Bancroft's character crashes to earth, he is completely naked. Although he runs around being chased, the editing makes it difficult to see much and pausing shows clearly he's wearing skin matching undies in most of the scenes.
Sleeping Together (1997)
Bancroft's character has A LOT of sex in 1997's Sleeping Together, but again, shows very little. There is a fair share of nudity, but only from the female cast members.
Love & Human Remains (1993)
We get our only real nude scene from Bancroft in the fascinating Love & Human Remains in 1993. I found a copy to cap, but will have to re-watch as I remember some interesting characters and relationships when I first saw the movie many years ago.

An Estepona Escape: Kike by Mount Photography
'He loves the camera and the camera loves him.'
Although the male form is definitely the focus of FH, setting and location is apart of my passion for the art form. It is why I often gravitate to, and am impacted by, images shot on location. FH readers know I love I love to explore not only the creative process of both artist and model, but the impact of the elements, especially light, temperature and weather.
It is for this reason I try to follow the seasons when choosing imagery. I like the visual symmetry between what I'm seeing and experiencing around me, and the visuals within the images I'm featuring. I also know that not everyone lives in a place with four so dramatically different seasons, and love the different feel, textures, color and light that each season provides. That being said, like most people who experience winter, vacations south, even just virtual vacations, are a must.
Today's trek is not only south, but about 3500 miles across the North Atlantic to Estepona, is a resort town on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain. It has been far too long since I've featured the work of Gibraltar based photographer Mark Montovio from Mount Photography. Mark's images of Kike, along with surrounding ocean, rocks and sky, are a perfect way, and at the perfect time, to welcome his imagery back to FH.
I first noticed Mark's shots of Kike on Mark's Instagram early last Autumn. I loved Mark's images, and the variety of poses, looks and locations he and Kike utilized. I was immediately struck by Kike's beautiful eyes and gorgeous full lips. I also loved Kike's body, physically fit for sure, but also the beautifully curvaceous, creating great lines and curves with his poses.
'Kike is a from Venezuela and currently living in Madrid. He has an incredible presence and the most amazing eyes and working with him is very easy I was able to connect with him very quickly and shot him three times in the space of a couple of months - happier with results each time!'

If anyone has tuned into Comedy Central over the past week or two, you have inevitability seen the commercial for the new series, The Other Two. The other two are the not so successful older siblings of a teen superstar. (Case Walker, top image)
The ad is well done and funny and has me looking forward to checking gout the new series. The concept seems smart and I also love Molly Shannon who plays the mome and Drew Tarver who plays Cary, the older brother. I also love me some Nick Adams who shows a little skin in the scene below from show's trailer.

Under His Belt: Juan Pablo Figueroa by MW Photo MD
'Juan, The PR-GQ, was already an accomplished model with runway shows and other events under his belt when he contacted me for his very first nude shoot.'
Since January is often about firsts, trying and beginning new things, it seemed the perfect time to feature Washington Photographer MW Photo MD's shoot with model Juan Pablo Figueroa. We sometimes assume nude modeling is something usually done by new models, and models looking to create portfolio's that will grab the attention of viewers, photographers and agencies. For Juan, who's agency signed and been modeling for years, it was just something he's been wanting to do for awhile.
'For the last 2 years I've been wanting to do a nude photo shoot to expand my portfolio but it was very difficult finding someone that would do that type of shoot. I came across Mark's work through other models that I have worked with, who had the opportunity of working with Mark in the past and I was excited at the opportunity to work with him.'
Originally from Puerto Rico, Juan had plenty of experience on the runway and in front of the camera, but all with his clothes on. Clothes were usually the focus for the 6'1" model whose tall, lean frame was perfect for fashion modeling. In or out of his clothing, Juan's presence in front of the lens, especially his powerfully sensuous brown eyes, draw the viewers attention. Despite his previous modeling experience, Juan admits he was initially quite nervous, not just at taking his clothes off, but because of his desire to create something artistic, elegant and tasteful.
'Mark and I began to talk about my goals for the shoot and this eased me through the process. It was a great experience and the fact that he actually listened to me and conversed with me throughout made me feel comfortable as Mark puts the comfortably of the model before the work itself. I am truly looking forward to collaborating with him again in the near future.'
Even with his skill at ensuring the models he works with feel comfortable, Mark admits he too felt a little intimidated about working with Juan. Given Juan's high expectations for the images, Mark wanted to make sure the shoot went as smoothly as possible and that the experience was one that led to images Juan would feel proud to share with others and add to portfolio.
'When we finally met after having multiple on-line communications I think that we both felt an instant ease and comfort between the two of us and I think it shows in how well the pictures turned out. We have talked about our next working together and I want to do a duo shoot with him in the near future.'
