Sibling Sundays: The Prince Twins

I love shots of brothers and twins together. I don't love however, the instinctual element so many photographers feel the need to include. There is already something organically sexy and erotic about two brothers posing nude together, the additional element is unnecessary. I guess it feeds a fantasy, but I think these shots of the Prince Twins are incredibly hot just as shot, nothing more was required to grab my attention!

Hitting the Books: Lincoln by Richard Rothstein

FH readers are keenly aware of my love of the artistry of Richard Rothstein. Since first discovering his dynamic visuals back in 2012, I've dived into his photographic stories whenever the opportunity arises. It always difficult to designate favorites, especially when it comes to art and imagery of the male form.
There is a fluidity with my passion for certain models, shoots and images, which ebbs and flows depending my mood and emotions and what's going on in my life. That being said, there are certain shoots, and certain models, that can be difficult to shake. They stay with you, drawing you back from time to time, for inspiration and rejuvenation. One of the most notable examples of this for me has been Richard's work with Lincoln.
Richard first shared his work with Lincoln during the summer of 2018. Their creative collaborations led four pieces on the site. The first two, featured Richard's work with Lincoln on the Boardwalk at Coney Island. (HERE: & HERE:) Coney Island has been the setting for many of Richard's shoots, not only because of his emotional connection to the location, but also because it's one of only a few public places, where a naked man is really nothing special, just one of the many oddities and visuals that can be seen.
I featured more of Richard's work with Lincoln later that fall, and I loved the second set, (HERE: & HERE:) a bow and nod to William Shakespeare. Richard is a connoisseur of blending story, character and literary history and references into his shoots. So many of Richard's themed shoots included classic characters and historical figures exhumed homonormativity as only Richard can do.
This series of shots from Richard's Apartment Series, were actually sent on around the same time as the first two sets. I set them aside to feature at a time I was in need if a doze of creative renourishing. Having temporarily lost all of my files and folders when my computer crashed this week, I was relieved when I remembered that I'd already pieced together this story for the site and had uploaded my favorite shots from the shoot to the blog.
This set, is actually a beautiful follow-up to the Shakespearean shoot and the literally themed. As author Debra Ginsberg described in the quote I began with, there is something sensual about books, especially old books. In addition to the smell, there's the feel and touch of the pages, Ginsberg describes a stacked, pyramid of books as one of the sexiest architectural designs that exists.
I totally concur with Ginsberg and agree that one of the sexiest things about books, is their promise. There is an erotic anticipation with what's to come. I always look forward to seeing what Richard's working on, and what story he's creating, and then capturing next. Just like a book, it's about wondering what lays between the covers and the many secrets waiting to be found.

Butt Brigade
I had a computer crash last week and for awhile, I thought I'd lost all of my desktop folders. These folders contained hundreds of story ideas for FH and hundreds of images. I think I've gotten most of them back, (on a new machine) but in the process, wanted to clean house a bit. Roderik's Very Sexy Friend: Martin by Bodytorium
'I asked the guys if they'd run around naked, and they did.'
With Martin however, getting him in front of his camera, wasn't without it's challenges. As you can see from this set of images however, Phil did eventually succeed. Phil knows that in addition to enjoying his fantastic imagery of hot naked male models, I also love a story. Phil also gives good story. Below, enjoy reading how Phil's patience paid off and how Martin ended up sweating it out in the sauna.
When Phil Met Maritn...
About four years ago, one of my athlete friends, Roderik, asked me if he could stop by for a visit in Bratislava and if I could take some "nice" shots of him. I've been known among athletes (especially among the parkour and calisthenics circles) as a good sports photographer. I said sure, and later Roderik asked if he could also bring a friend. This was Martin.
I didn't know who he was or what he looked like, and I didn't really know any details or have a plan for what kind of shots we were going to take. I was of course secretly hoping there would be some sexy shots. When they arrived about a week later, I was was very happy to meet his very sexy friend.
I showed them a couple of my photo books and we played some music. Later I took out my Spider-Man costume which Martin put on and did a very impressive striptease. Things were off to a good start, and soon after my camera was out and I took some very sexy shots of both Martin and Roderik, although there was only one full frontal, and that was an "accidental".
The boys slept over, and the next morning we headed over to a nearby Czech town to meet up with one of out mutual friends who organized a street workout competition. There were very pretty villages, hills and valleys along a way and we made a stop to take some shots. I asked the guys if they'd run around naked, and they did. The shots were amazing. They are still among my best shots, and this was years before I started photographing for Bodytorium.
We had a really fun day with our friends in Brno, but the next day we parted our own ways and hadn't seen each other much since. Martin moved to Bratislava, attended a sports college and seemed to really get into boxing. Later he dropped out (for reasons I am unaware of) and moved back to his hometown. About a year ago, I asked Martin if he'd be interested in modeling for my site. He declined politely, didn't explain any details, just said that he didn't want to do nudes.
A few months ago, Roderik encouraged me to contact Martin again and thought that this time Martin would probably go for it. Roderik explained that a lot has changed since a year ago and that Martin was even considering doing live chats with Roderik and that Martin would likely be more open to posing nude. I called Martin and he seemed very interested and we agreed on doing a photoshoot in a couple of weeks.
A few days before our planned photoshoot, Martin canceled. He didn't want to explain any details, he just wrote he wasn't in the mood. I was really looking forward to photographing him for Bodytorium. It was very disappointing but I had a theory that Martin was feeling down after losing a boxing match. I contacted him again a few weeks later, tried to put myself in his shoes and wrote him a very nice message. He agreed to do the photoshoot and I crossed my fingers that he wouldn't change his mind again. Luckily he didn't.

Chri-Easter
Although in the US, most know today as President's Day, for some, the day has another name for many...
Chri-Easter is the term used to describe people that attend church only on Christmas and Easter. Given today is the mid-point between the two holidays, it it seemed a good to commemorate the day. The hottie, in his multi-holiday onesie, knows that while Santa and the elves may still in their resting period, the Easter bunny is currently in training for his hop around the world. Happy Chri-Easter!

Fantasy Fulfillment: Greg_DC by MW Photo MD
'My modeling is primarily for fun.... and fulfilling a fantasy that I had for a longtime.'
It's always impressive when anyone shakes up their routine and tries something new. It's particularly notable when it's something risky. Most of us, as we slide out of our twenties, thirties and fortes, are more likely to stop doing certain things rather than actually expanding activity repertoire. Work, relationships and life in general tends to pressure us into routines. These routines can sometimes go on for decades without us actually realizing the hamster wheel were's spinning in.
Greg_DChad enough of going round in circles, he wanted to change up, and spice up, both his life and routine. Sitting in front of a computer for a eight hours a day for his day job, also had Greg looking for a creative outlet. Now in his early sixties, five years ago he decided it was time to add as an extra-curriculum activity into his life.
Given now youth focused the modeling industry was, Greg knew he had an up hill battle, but is passionate about showing the world that men over fifty can still create provocative and erotic images and are still in high demand. Greg didn't have any hang-ups about getting naked, he'd done naked yoga and belonged to a naked men's social club in his town. He'd had shot his fair share of naked selfies, and wasn't shy about sharing them and sending them to friends. It was those friends who encouraged Greg to put together a portfolio and and give nude modeling a try.
Getting started was a little daunting. Greg wondered if he'd find photographers willing to take a chance on a new and inexperienced model. A little googling and setting up his page on Model Mayhem quickly let to connections with may photographers exited to collaborate. One of those photographers was Mark from MW Photo MD.
Mark describes Greg as a great model to work with and was thrilled with the results of their shoot together. When Greg first reached out, Mark noticed that he had worked with some of his favorite photographers and was impressed with his portfolio. One of the things I loved so much about the shots sent on was how much fun Greg seemed to be having. So much fun... it was hard to find images to share in which Greg wasn't showing off just how excited he was...
'Mark and I got along immediately. We arrived at the same time to the studio and we were ready to shoot immediately. I was impressed with the TV / photographer’s studio that he rented out our photoshoot in Downtown Washington DC. It used to be a 19th Century carriage house converted to studio with very high ceilings and lights. It has been used by 60 Minutes to shoot interviews on Capitol Hill.'
All in a Days Work:
'A photographer was pissed off that my underwear and swimwear was not ironed. He pulled out an ironing board and then ironed them before we began.
I worked with a very well regarded photographer who asked me shave all my body hair off. Ultimately, I told him “NO” since this was my best asset that I possess personally. However, I did comprised and agreed to get my back and ass waxed, and I did trim my pubic areas.
On the day of the photo shot, The photographer began the session by asking me strip down. He proceeded to look at every body part of my body from head to toe without saying a word. It was the longest 3 or 4 minutes. I felt like I was a cattle or horse at an auction. After he was done looking, he smiled and asked me to put my clothes back on so we could started...
A very successful commercial photographer asked me if I was interested in fucking his husband while he shoot us. It sounded like too much potential drama for me; so I did not pursue it further.'
'It's been rewarding to have all types of guys,from bodybuilders and regular guys, complimenting me saying that I motivate them to workout at the gym and keep a fit and healthy lifestyle. This is great feeling especially since I turned 61 in December.'

Surprise Nudity: Drive, He Said

Anyone who grew up watching, or just loves 80's television, has undoubtedly seen episodes of Night Court (1984-1992) and Hill Street Blues (1981-1987). Although I don't think I've seen even one episode of the police drama, I've certainly seen repeats of the sit-com Night Court.
Michael Warren
I was shocked recently, to see an image featuring two stars from the shows in a nude scene from the 70's. The two actors were Charles Robinson, (Night Court) and Michael Warren. (Hill Street Blues) The movie, 1971's Drive, He Said, a basketball movie from director actor, and basketball lover, Jack Nicholson. Although Nicholson is known for his passion for the game, he's not as well known for his work as a director. The Oscar winning actor's only directed three films, Drive, He Said making his directorial feature film debut.

It was a little shocking to see Hill Street Blues Bobby Hill and especially Night Court's Mac, and Mr. Munson from Mom, letting it all hang. Although Warren had a few TV credits under his belt, Drive, He Said marked his first feature film, and the first professional credit for Robinson.

Soak 'N' Wet: Jordan by Implicit Ditto
'You can’t go wrong with an attractive man in a bathtub!'
Given't the nexus between moisture and sensuality, it makes sense that's become such an essential element in the photography of the male form. The reasons are endless, beginning with the many metaphorical and literal connections between sexual arousal and wetness. On a basic level however, especially with photographers who travel for shoot, there's always a bathroom, no matter where you're staying, available to utilize as a makeshift studio.
The most important reason to use any element in art, is it's impact on the visual. The combination of light and water is powerful, especially when cascading over the skin of a beautiful naked body. The wet naked body for this shoot is a model many FH readers are already familiar with. Some of you may remember him 2018's Utah shoot, (HERE:) but I'm guessing most of you know Jordan as peaks_and_cheeks2.0 on Instagram.
It was through Jordan;s Instagram page that lead to his connecting with Mike (Implicit Ditto) first connected. Mike had seen Jordan's work, including his work in Utah, and a creative collaboration was planned. This series of shots came from their second shoot. The fist, took place outside on a chilly afternoon in St. George, Although Mike shares they got some great shots, the shoot was short due to the weather. Bot model and photographer agreed they wanted to work together again in the future should the opportunity arise.
A quick trip to Vegas provided a second opportunity for Mike and Jordan to connect. Thankfully what happened during their time together didn't stay in Vegas, and was captured for other to enjoy. Due to scheduling time was tight so they shot in the rooms of the hotel where Mike was staying. Both Mike and Jordan agree that some of the best shots came from time in the bathroom. I fully agree.
In my last piece featuring Mike's work, (HERE:) the San Francisco based photographer discussed his goal of the blending of environment with the model to create a mood. Although for that shoot, the environment was a beautiful outdoor location, he certainly demonstrates with this shoot, a bathroom will also do just fine.
'The place had a huge open shower and a clawfoot bathtub. While I had to maneuver into numerous yoga poses and climb on chairs to get the best angle, it was worth the effort given the results. Jordan moves with such fluidity, I really just let him move and make minor adjustments. He's so comfortable in his skin and has such a warm smile, although you don't see it in this set of pictures... We shot right up until my deadline but I could have easily spent another couple hours with him that morning.'
'Mike was great with direction and helping me find the best positioning for my body. I absolutely loved the bathtub shots we did. They’re some of my favorites. Anytime that I’m traveling out to CA I plan to connect with him and keep expanding our portfolio together.'

Evander Kane for ESPN's Body Issue
'I've got a lot of compliments on my butt through the years. When your in a squat position on the ice and skating and low to the ground, your ass gets a bit of a workout.'
Not quite sure how I missed this one... FH readers are aware of my love of hockey, and especially naked hockey players. (HERE:) I also try to be pretty tuned into ESPN's Body Issue and featured previously players, including one of my favorite players, Tyler Sequin, who posed naked for the issue back in 2015.
I've always thought San Jose Sharks left winger Evander Kane was incredibly hot, but missed the Canadian hockey players naked ice naked ice shoot in last years issue. Kane nailed it when he talked about the butt benefits of all those squats and photographer Marcus Eriksson captured every beautiful line and curve.
