Agency : SOUL ARTIST MANAGEMENT

Gray by Seth Binsted

When I was in college a lot of my friends told me that I should try modeling. So after college I had a test shoots with my aunt who is a wedding photographer and we sent those photos to some friends in the fashion industry.

On location with Louis Botha

Through a family friend we were able to get those photos to Bruce Weber. He loved my look and me come shoot for Vman magazine in Montauk the next day. He then connected me with the awesome people at Soul Artist Management.

I complain about my hair getting in my face all the time but I really do love having long hair. If I had to cut it for a big job I definitely would but for anything other than that I think I would abstain.

I can't really figure out if these shots are real... or done for a joke. Doesn't really matter, they're brilliantly fun and compellingly cheesy.

Body Blush: Matt by Steve Jerome

'So sweet the blush of bashfulness, E'en pity scarce can wish it less!'
Lord Byron

When I was a kid, I had allergies to pretty much everything that grew outside. It was a particularly cruel nightmare in the spring.  While others welcomed the fragment aromas,  I knew I would soon be rouged in red.  It wasn't just my face, but every part of my body seemed to stand in line, waiting to take it it's turn when my skin was exposed.

Red is commonly viewed as the hue of love, passion and lust.  For some however, it's also the tint of trauma, of feelings of embarrassment, nervousness and shame.   Although there is nothing sensual about feelings of anxiety or shame, there can be an erotic excitement connected with feelings of embarrassment and vulnerability.

I generally don't enjoy seeing images of models posing nude who don't want to be there.  Models who are desperate for cash and look as if they're in torture, or heading to the electric chair.  That being said, elements of nervousness, especially with models posing naked for the first time, are a natural part of the process.  Sometimes... when utilized skillfully by the model or photographer, can be incredibly sexy.

I thankfully outgrew my allergies, and those seasonal bouts of blushing.   Given that model Matt Singer went on to a career in porn, I'm guessing he too either outgrew, or eventually accepted his moments of maroon.  It was however, Matt's body blushing in this shoot, that really drew me into this series of shots from San Diego based photographer Steve Jerome.

When I first saw the remnants of red on Matt's beautiful backside, I thought he must have been just sitting down, then maybe stood up for the pose.  I noticed however, the redness wasn't fixed solely just on Matt's ample ass.  The color flowed, much like the blood through his veins, to flush whichever part of Matt's body, Steven's camera moved over and focused on.

The shimmering cherry red blushed from both sets of cheeks, those on his face and on his butt.  It cascaded over his stomach, his back, his legs, almost every part of Matt's body that was vulnerable and exposed.  It didn't however, seem to impact Matt's eyes and his smile.  Although he may not have been able to completely wipe away the wash of wine, Matt also didn't let it inhibit him, and seemed to almost enjoy his red reveal.

Nicholas Hoult: About A Boy

Because art is typically visual, change is organically part of it's core.  Part of my fascination with images of the male form, is seeing the progress and change in artist's style and technique.  In addition, it's interesting to watch a model's progression, both with experience and over time.  This is especially true with actors, who become inadvertent models in the process of creating and promotion.

These elements of change, are part of the reason I love doing the feature Actors & Skin.  In part, it's about bringing together all, or at least most, of an actors revealing resume.  A bonus element however, is also seeing and enjoying an actor's body over time, both the positive elements, and the less desirable changes as well.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder of course, and we all see things differently.  There are some actors, who showed skin in their teens in twenties, whose bodies never look as fit and hot again.  There are other actors however, who seem to thrive as they get older, and whose bodies look at their peak, in their thirties, forties and beyond.

Actor Nicholas Hoult only turned 30 this year, but's he's been acting, and visually modeling, all of his three plus decades.  Hoult began acting at the age of 3, professionally at 7. The English actor became known to many at the age of 12, after appearing as Marcus in 2002's About A Boy.  Five years later, when Hoult was 18, he did his first nude scenes for the UK version of Skins.

Hoult has gone on to appear nude on television and in film close to half a dozen times, most recently in the 2020 series The Great.  Many of you have seen his beautiful butt walk from the show, but if you haven't, and want to check out more of Hoult's heinie, on PAGE 2 HERE:

Justin Gorence: The Man Behind the Glass

My DVR is full of un-watched episodes. There are currently several episodes from this seasons The Good Fight, Killing Eve, Mrs. America and the last three episode of The Sinner.  These are all shows I enjoy, but when the pandemic was in full swing, I looking for comfort more than drama.  So... while some were making banana bread, when I got into bed each night and turned on the TV, I was mostly watching repeats of Frasier, and past seasons of The Great British Bake-Off.

I hadn't really watched much Frasier when it first aired, in fact, there was something about the show that had me actively avoiding it.  I was of course wrong.  Maybe I needed to mature enough to match the show, but I'm currently on season 4 and really enjoying every episode.  A couple of weeks ago, while watching the third season episode, Look Before You Leap, I was drawn to the man behind the glass....

Actor Justin Gorence only appeared on screen for about 20 seconds, but there was something about his face, the shape, his smile, that had me wondering if I'd seen him before.  I'm not sure that I did, but Gorence did appear on several shows in the nineties including Melrose PlaceSliders and three episodes of Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

I got a little over excited when I saw on his IMDB page that he also appeared in a few soft core flicks, so synonymous with the 90's.  Sadly, although he had a few shirtless scenes, Gorence's clothes for the most part, stayed on.  Although there was some tame nudity in Sisters of Sin and The Sexperiment, not from Justin.  In The Sexperiment, he played a sexologist, so watched more than he participated.  Still, it was interesting getting to know a bit about Justin, who's acting career, much like the two leads, seemed to peter out after his appearance in  film made to profit from the successs of American Idol, 2003's Justin to Kelly.

When I saw an old AMG image of Ron and Tony Warner, I knew I wanted to include them in Siblings Saturday. Unfortunately, even though they were photographed by Bob Mizer, I couldn't find many images, or much information about the fraternal twin brothers. If anyone know of a site with more images, shoot me a line!

Spring Awakening: Kubo by Bodytorium

'This spring, Kubo finally turned 18.'

Many FH readers remember Kubo,  when I previewed his work with Phil this past April. (The Dreamer)  Kubo is close friends with several of the other models, (Andrew, Lukas N, Lukas K and Robert.) Phil has worked with.  Kubo had heard their stories about working with Phil and the fun and adventure they had on their shoots. and was eager for his 18th birthday to arrive so that he could join them on Bodytorium, and give modeling a try for himself.

Phil first met Kubo last fall when meeting up with mutual friend Lukas K.  Phil shares that on first impression, Kuob was sweet and charming, and really liked to talk. Although he may look innocent, Phil could see Kubo had a good head on his shoulders and was very mature and independent for his age. Eager to begin modeling, they discussed a possible future shoot after Kubo turned 18 in the spring.

When discussing the shoot, Kubo came across as very open and comfortable with the nudity, but despite his enthusiasm, on the day of the shoot, nerves took over. Phil quickly realized that Kubo was actually quite shy, and was patient while Kubo worked up his nerve to take  his underwear off.

It helped that Kubo's buddy Lukas K, (who you can see on FHHERE:) had come to the photoshoot to help record some video. Phil had thought Lukas K would help put Kubo at ease, but he presence may have in fact done just the opposite.

Lukas spent much of the beginning of the shooting teasing Kubo and cracking jokes.  Instead of relaxing him, it actually seemed to make him more nervous, so much so, Phil eventually asked Lukas to go into the other room, so Kubo could have a bit of privacy in order to feel more open and comfortable.

Once those undies finally came off, Kubo became more at ease and relaxed, and could barely contain his desire to grin.  They eventually ended up outside, but given Kubo's initial nerves, Phil wanted to ensure he found a private location, one where Kubo wouldn't be bothered by spectator.  They did eventually find a relatively secluded spot in the forest, just a short hop from downtown Bratislava.  The results from their forest shoot, part 4 of Phil's work with Kubo, have just been added to the Bodytorium site.

John C. McGinley in Wild Hogs

'Like what you see, huh?'

I've not seen 2007's Wild Hogs, nor do I really have any interest in doing so.  I did however, find a clip of the skinny dipping scene. John C. McGinley play the Highway Patrolman looking for friendship.  He briefly  joins the traveling foursome, while they're skinning dipping, giving us a nice view of his meaty muffin.  McGinley's character left alone in the lake, after closing his eyes for a game of Marco Polo.

One of the most interesting things about the scene isn't so much the scene itself, but some 'behind the scenes' shots of the actors that came out on a site entitled 'On location new's after the film was released.  The shots showed many of the actor arriving on set, stripping down to their skin colored pouches and getting into the water.

Although all five actors in the scene were supposed to be naked, only McGinley and actor William H. Macy actually showed their butts.  Not that anyone was really hoping to see Travolta's tushie or Tim Allen's ass.  Given however, that young and fit actors are often ridiculed when doing nude kudos this group of actors who were brave for stripping off their shirts for the scene.

Whenever I've seen the 'behind the scenes' shots, the full frontal image (below) of McGinley usually makes an appearance.  Although McGinley is seen in a modesty pouch in some shots, he also had to remove, or at least lower it, for some of the shots in the film.  The shot may well be a fake, but there were also reports it's real and that the actor's pouch fell off while filming, and he simply decided to continue without it.  Maybe someone will ask the actor in a future interview what the story really was...
