'Be Bold, Be Courageous, Be Your Best!'

Freddie Prinze Jr. in She's All That (1999)

In 1999's She's All That, Dean (Paul Walker), challenges Zack (Freddie Prinze Jr.) to a bet on whether Zack can turn any random girl into the Prom Queen within six weeks. As you can see, Zach lost the bet.

When I was thinking of compiling Graduation nude scenes on film, I initially thought there'd me tons.  For some reason I thought flashing or mooning at graduation ceremonies was a staple in many teen flicks.  Flashing and mooning is of course a staple, but there were not as many instances as Grad as I first thought.  I found a few additional 'prom' flashes, but for this piece, decided to stick to convocations and cap and gown flashing.

Robin Williams in Patch Adams (1998)

' I wanted to become a doctor so I could serve others. And because of that, I've lost everything. But I've also gained everything.'
Hunter Patch Adams

As with many films, the graduation ceremony in 1998's Patch Adams, and Robin Williams butt flash, happens  at the very end of the movie.  Given Patch's personality, it wouldn't have been a Graduation without him stealing the show.

Dan Monahan in Porky's Revenge (1985)

'Graduation nears for the class of 1955 at Angel Beach High. The the gang once again faces off against their old enemy Porky.'

The last film in the Porky's series actually had two Graduation scenes, one at the beginning, and one at the end.  The one at the beginning of the film was just Pee Wee's dream, the one at the end, the real grad.  Although actor Dan Monahan (Pee Wee) showed everything in the first two films, I couldn't help but wonder if there was a body double used in these scenes.  It may have been due to the big crowds, or it could have been these scenes were shot on location at a different time.  It could be Dan, but looking closely at the face had me wondering.

'Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment, until it becomes a memory.'
Dr. Seuss

I didn't attend my graduation from University.  I had already moved on mentally and had already started a full time job.  My diploma arrived in the mail about six months later and it remained in it's cardboard container in my old bedroom at home for over a decade.  One Christmas my parents decided to surprise me by having it framed.  It was a really nice gesture, but I never ended up hanging it up, either at home or my office.

My high school graduation on the other hand, was a blur.  I stupidly agreed to sing, so that, and calming my nerves, was pretty much all I could think of.  It was really hot and muggy night and the ceremony took almost three hours to complete.  Of course my song was set for just near the end.  I did however, enjoy my prom, which included a late night beach trip, and breaking up (again) with my high school girlfriend.

Graduations are important, but not nearly as important as the time and money put into them.  A few years ago, I attended my cousins high school graduation.  The entire night was all about how everyone arrived.  I live in a rural area, so students arrived in limos, in wagons, on horses, in firetrucks, even a small group in a helicopter.  It was fun for about five minutes, but the overkill got to be a bit much after awhile.

I love a party, but when it comes to ceremonies, I'm into minimalism.  I prefer less pomp and ceremony, less fanfare, less expense, and most of all, the less clothing the better. With Covid, I know many missed their proms and ceremonies last year.  This year, in most area's, smaller, socially distant ceremonies are  back on. Good Luck to all those graduating, and all of those who must endure a three hour graduation ceremony this year, either as a graduate, or as an attendee.

'Be who you are and say how you feel,
because those who mind don't matter and
those who matter don't mind'
Dr. Seuss

Earlier this year, I  had the pleasure of featuring RMark Photography's work with Max. (A Man of Substance)  It was January when I put together the piece and tucked away these shots of Max in (and out of) his cap and gown.  I knew they'd make the perfect centerpiece for a graduation themed day. Max looks ready to face his future, and although I really love his tan lines.... I'd also love to catch him on a beach this summer, going for that all over tan.

'Nick was an awesome photographer. He was relaxed and silly, which allowed me to let loose, bringing about natural looks. I'm typically pretty tense during shoots since I try so hard to pose, but the combination of a great location and atmosphere and a rad photographer allowed me to be me, free like a bee!'

Readers of FH may remember I've used the above quote from Zach before.  I think it's the perfect description of both Nicholas's working style and Zach's free spirted personality.  I quickly detect and feel Zach's easy going manner in all of his shoots, especially those with NICKET.  Nicholas loves to shoot his models in magnificent outside locations and encourages them move around and play.  Zach certainly seemed to be having fun in the image on the previous page. .

Nicholas also encourages the models he's shooting to to interact with all the elements which surround them.  To touch and feel the sand and rocks on their body and this case, the long grass on their skin.  Zach certainly didn't need much prompting to remove his shorts and lay down in the tall grass to relax.

'As a folklorist finds an escaped convict on the brink of death, before long, a passionate love affair begins. Then, the sudden arrival of her daughter sparks a secret romance. Can the mother walk away from this dangerous forbidden love?'

The copy of Gymnoi sto hioni (Naked in the Snow) that I watched wasn't the greatest quality.  It was an old VHS copy without subtitles that I found on-line.  Even without hearing exactly what was said, the story was pretty easy to figure out.  The movie begins with a distraught Eliza (Aimilia Ypsilanti) remembering shooting a naked man in the snow.

That naked man was of course Alexios, in the naked form of actor Christo Spyropoulos.  The movie then flashes back telling the story of what led Alexios to be naked out in the snow, and why he was shot running away.  Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!

Spring to Life: Zach by NICKET

Sprummer: Late spring, the transition time as spring turns to summer

In many parts of the world, next week mark's a seasonal change.  At the summer solstice, the Sun travels the longest path through the sky, and that day therefore has the most daylight.  Although the longest day of the year mark's a beginning, in some ways it's also an end.  Although summer is officially beginning, it also the start of six months of us losing brief moments of light each day.

Summer is actually my least favorite season.  My favorite is Autumn, followed by winter, then spring and then summer.  It's not really about the heat, or even the humidity, I love a hot summer day and have great memories of beach days, camp fires, family vacations and summer parties.  I also have experienced some difficult times and loss during the summer, and those memories end to annoyingly return each year with the change of seasons.

I also hated working during the summer, like many, I've never lost the feeling of being a student, when summer meant being on vacation.  My current office was not air conditioned for many years, and June, July and August used to be brutal before we finally pushed for and had central air installed. There were many years I didn't have any AC at work or at home.  I know we've all experienced getting out of the shower on a hot, humid morning and being drenched from sweat as you rush to get dressed and out the door to work.  The only saving grace was the blast of AC in the car on the drive to work.

I've been fortunate to have been able to work from home much of the past year.  Not only has that given me a bit more of that 'summer' vacation feel, it's also had me looking forward to summer for the first time in years.  With the pandemic still surging most of the last year, we were all encouraged to stay in as much as possible.  As hard as this was, it was slightly easier on cold winter days.

As the weather has improved, and the seasons have changed, many of us have felt like running outside, ripping off our clothes, and doing cartwheels and jumping for joy. Last month, I was thrilled to be able to feature more of Zach and his work with NICKET.  Nicholas sent on several new series from his work with Zach and this set seemed a perfect way to celebrate Sprummer.  .

Zach is generally pretty care free and my guess is that he'd be smiling and doing cart wheels regardless of the weather, and regardless of the season.  The summer however, means he might be doing those things with just a little less clothing on.  In this series, Zach's shirt comes off, allowing the sun's heat to wash over the skin on Zach's back and chest.  It was only a matter of time then, when Zach's shorts had to get peeled off as well.  Check out those shots on the NEXT PAGE HERE:

Christo Spyropoulos in Love On A Horse

A son and his stepmother, without noticing their father/husband peeping at them, make love on a horse. The father, while being a painter, gets inspired and begins a new painting that creates tension between them.

A couple of years ago, I featured Greek actor Christo Spyropoulos and his nude scenes in 1974's Spiti stous vrahous. (Love on the Rocks) (HERE:)  The softcore stud starred in just four films in the early 70's, all which required him to be shirtless and naked much of the time.

To koritsi kai t' alogo (Love On A Horse) is actually the first of Christo's four turns, and much like Love On The Rocks, it begins with him arriving at a house, and quickly getting out of his clothes.  This quickly attracts the attention of his step-mother, and even without subtitles, it wasn't hard to predict what would happen next.

Although Christo eventually went full frontal, in Love On A Horse, the nudity from Christo is a series of butt shots, including some flashes as he rides both the horse, and then his step-mother.

I have yet to find a copy of Christo's forth (and final) film, (Dress Your Flesh With Desire) but I did find an old VHS version of his second film, Gymnoi sto hioni. (Naked in the Snow)  Check out caps and clips on the NEXT PAGE HERE:

The long scene with the horse was interestingly put together.  I couldn't figure out for sure if the horse was being used as a prop, or was  part of an odd threesome....  Either way, the horse was straddled by two naked wet bodies...

Jesse Hutch in Pretty Little Stalker

When it comes to thespian torsos, I'm not sure theirs a hotter one than actor Jesse Hutch's!  Although the Alberta born actor had been a part of many Canadian based productions, I think I first really noticed him in Red-Handed, a 2012 episode of Once Upon A Time. (HERE:)  Although he didn't display his torso in the episode, there's was just something special about him that had me wanting to check out more of his work.

Except for a wee bit of butt crack in one of his wife's Instagram story, Hutch has kept his pants on, but his shirt however, has thankfully come off.  The first time I saw him shirtless, was with a rare bit of skin in a Hallmark Christmas movie.  In 2017's Snowmance (HERE:) Hutch removed his winter plaid to give us a glorious view of his incredible hairy chest.

Smallville (2002-2005)

A few months ago I caught the actor in another Hallmark movie, this time it was the spring themed Making Something Great.  Unfortunately Hutch kept his shirt on this time, but it didn't really matter, the actor is so likable and engaging, he still managed to get me hot and bothered.  He also had me on the hunt for more shirtless scenes.

A quick search led me to the great site ausCaps which had images of Hutch from 2018's Pretty Little Stalkers.  I hadn't seen the movie before, but the images had me on the hunt to find a copy and wanting to check it out.

'Sometimes improvised ideas are the best. I had a really fun time running around, crawling on the floor and getting into tight spots to get as many angles as possible.'

For me, couples shoots are often hit or miss.  Of course I love seeing two hot men together, but to me, so often, couple shoots are over produced and overly sexual.  It sometimes feels like the photographer doesn't trust in the innate eroticism of two naked bodies in close proximity.  It is incredibly erotic to have two hot naked men together, but it doesn't always have to be overtly sexual.  Viewers can imagine whatever they want, but I especially love, when models, whether one or two, partake in every day everyday activities, completely nude.

Some of my favorite shoots from Bodytorium have included two models together.  I can tell from the post counts that FH viewers also enjoyed seeing Lukas and Robert (HERE:) horse playing and taking a bath together, and Andrew and Lukas K (HERE:) stripping down for a run.  I also love when Lukas K shows up (HERE:) assisting and supporting one of his buddies through their first nude shoot.  Although there's nothing sexual between these straight friends hanging out naked, there is something incredibly fun about it, and incredibly hot.

'I’ve had many requests for another duo like Andrew and Lukas, or Lukas and Robert. Finally the time has arrived with Michal and Yuri. I also really enjoy the duos and I’ve actually intended to do a photoshoot event last year with at least 4 guys with a ski trip / winter cottage party theme, but unfortunately the timing hasn’t been right. Slovakia has been in a lockdown since mid-December and it keeps being extended. But the winter will pass and things will get better.'

Michal and Yuri are close friends and Phil met and “interviewed” both of them about a week before the photoshoot.  Phil shares that they came across as being both excited and a bit hesitant about their photo shoots, especially given Phil had scheduled them on the same day. Phil assured them that it would be fun, that at most they would be posing just doing something innocent and and be playful together.  Phi was clear he wasn't expecting them to French kiss, or anything physical between them.

'Michal and Yuri stayed in separate rooms during the solo shots. Later we took a short break and went to the grocery store tore to grab some food and that’s where the “making breakfast” idea came up. They weren’t completely comfortable with the idea of being completely naked around each other, but I told them that we’d start off with them being in their underwear and see how it goes. They were easygoing guys and I had a hunch it would be fine. And it was. At one point Michal asked Yuri if it had ever crossed his mind, when they first met each other, that one day they would appear in a nude photo shoot together. They laughed. '

'On a more positive note, I've also noticed that there is a lot more spontaneous and fun energy when two or more straight guys strip down and pose nude together. It kind of comes across as a childish thing when kids are amused by doing something they shouldn't, something "naughty". And at the same time it feels good. Posing nude seems have a therapeutic effect on some of the guys I've photographed and I've been thinking of ways of making this sort of experience more popular and available to men. '

You can see much more of both Michael and Yuri, both together, and in solo shoots

I know it's been on since 2013, but I just recently discovered Below Deck.  I think because they're both on boats,  I thought the show was connected to The Deadliest Catch.  I guess I wasn't really paying attention.  A few months ago I caught an episode of Below Deck Mediterranean from the shows fifth, and most recently aired season.

I was immediately drawn to the Mediterranean's incredibly blue seas, the beautiful islands and locations and the drama surround Chief Steward Hannah Ferrier.  Now after watching the episode I went on-line and I found out Hannah is polarizing with the shows fans.  I loved her, flaws and all.  She's beautiful and I love her accent.  I also loved her intolerance for most of those around her.  If she was on your side, she had your back, but if not, you'd better watch out.

The episode I watched was about mid-way through the season, but thankfully, Amazon had the entire series so I was able to go back and watch the season from the beginning.  Season 5 didn't end well for Hannah, but I'm certain after watching the reunion, that she's doing ok.  I was looking forward to watching season 6, but the show unfortunately brought back Captain Sandy and Malia, two on the show I wasn't so found of...

A boat is only as effective as it's crew, and although I wasn't a fan of Malia the person, she proved a decent bosun.  Her deck crew included three hot guys, Peter, Robert and my favorite Alex Radcliffe.  Peter proved to be a bit of a douche, confirmed by his chauvinism, and some problematic social media posts.  Former model Robert is incredibly hot, but is a little distant, still fighting his own demons.

Alex however, was the nice guy, friendly with all, with a season relatively drama free, at least by this crews standards.  Alex is also incredibly hot, with a great face, and a body I'd love to snuggle up with. Alex gave us various views of his physique, often when one of the female stews was waxing off his back.   I'm just glad they didn't shave his sexy chest hair.

Alex and Robert

Although Below Deck does appear to show butts now and then, Alex waited until after the show was over to give us a flash.  Alex mooned during a Instagram story chat with fellow Below Decker Bobby, and showed another his 'wax hair' line on an episode of Below Deck: Galley Talk.

A Look Back: Rodney Harvey

Although I consider myself a film buff, there are many well known and 'must see' movies that I have to discover and enjoy.  Last week, I finally watched Francis Ford Coppola's The Outsiders.  Although I'd heard of the film, and knew of it's famous cast, it was not a movie I was every really drawn to seek out and watch.  Seeing that the 1983 film was playing on a retro movie channel, I decided to DVR and finally watch.

I guess the film was pretty much what I expected.  I enjoyed it, and am glad I finally watched.  I can't say that I really loved it though.  Given the star studded cast, most in the early stages of their careers, I did google a bit to find out about the casting process.   The searching led me to find out the film had a brief 1990 television series based on the film.  The show featured Jay R. Ferguson, Boyd Kestner, David Arquette, Robert Rusler and the beautiful Rodney Harvey.

It's no surprise given his good looks that Harvey caught the eye and was discovered by director. Paul Morrissey.  Morrissey went on to cast Harvey in two films, Mixed Blood (1985) and Bensonhurst. (1988)  After his initial success the young actor moved to Los Angeles.

In the television version, Harvey played Sodapop in the series, the role played by Rob Lowe in the film.  Although Sodapop wasn't heavily featured in the film, he does appear to have been one of the leads in the TV show. The show only lasted 13 episodes, but it did bring Harvey to a wider audience.  Prior to the show,

Harvey was a model, who had shot with many of the industries biggest photogs, including working several times with Bruce Weber , including a spread with Madonna for Life Magazine.  He also had the lead in 1988's Salsa. After the show's cancellation, Harvey went on to take the lead in La Bocca and co-starred alongside Drew Barrymore in Gun Crazy.  Harvey also played a hustler, and friend to Keanu Reeves and River Phoenix in 1991's My Own Private Idaho.  Harvey's last on-screen role was in 1996's God's Lonely Man.

Sadly the beautiful and talented actor died in 1998. It's reported he began using Heroin during the filming of My Own Private Idaho.  Despite attempts to get clean, and several stints in jail, Heroin sadly took over and won with Harvey dying of a drug overdose.  Death is especially sad when it's someone so young and with so much potential.  One can only imagine what his future may have held.
